Charming 4 Bedroom 3 Full Bath River Cottage conveniently located in Dunnsville, VA on the Rappahannock River. Large 1 acre lot with a private dock not far from marinas in Tappahannock (Parker's) and Center Cross (Garrett's). Large rear deck and sun porch with beautiful views of the river, especially at sunrise. Outdoor fireplace, gas and charcoal grills, picnic table, outdoor swing near the beautiful magnolia tree are a few of the amenities. Bring your favorite fishing pole or use one of ours. Lots of fun things to do on the Rivah: boating, tubing, kayaking, fishing or just plain relaxing. This is a great place to bring the family for a week or just a long weekend. You will find lots of fun things to do in the area for all ages and lifestyles. This river home is not far from Urbanna, Tappahannock, Kilmarnock or Deltaville where you can find good dining, oysters and crabs (depending on season). Summary: Loved the neighborhood! Beautiful views! Wind winery was definitely worth the trip. We kayaked, fished from the dock and rode our bikes. Friendly neighbors and very convenient to Food Lion.

Summary: Spacious home was ideal for a 2 family getaway. Place was clean and the main living area was large and spacious. Owners were very responsive. Having a large bowl of water on the back porch was very welcoming for our dog. The lot itself was very large giving you a lot of privacy. The screened in back porch was great for bug free dining outdoors. Hated to leave.

Summary: We rented this lovely home for a few days and just loved it. The home had everything we needed, clean and easy check in. The view over the water...great sunrises. Plenty of space and having rooms on each side of the home was nice too.

Summary: The house has a good layout and is very comfortable. The location is fairly rural which we like, but not too far to a grocery store. We caught blue catfish off the dock, went kayaking, and enjoyed watching the osprey and eagles. The yard is very big and we enjoyed playing cornhole and throwing the baseball. We would rent this house again.

Summary: Sunrises were amazing. It was a nice house with bedrooms on opposite side of the house for privacy. Sunroom is very nice addition to the property.

Summary: It’s easy to relax at the river cottage. My favorite “thing” was watching sunrise from the porch, which was recently screened in, and listening to the birds greet the morning. So tranquil! There’s a nice Food Lion close by, as well as various restaurants. Thanks, John & Paige!
