Summary: The cabin itself is very nice and it’s very clean. Had just about all accommodations I would want aside from ur own personal stuff. We chose this location to check out the hiking trails but unfortunately it rained the entire weekend we were there so we got minimal hiking in. Spent a lot of our time in the hot tub which was the highlight of our weekend seeings how we didn’t get to use the fire pit . Would definitely stay here again tho bcuz it wasn’t the owners faults the weather didn’t cooperate with us so maybe better luck next time. The location however was the worst part. Not the most pleasant neighborhood.

Summary: Two women on the verge of 50 went in search of a quiet "base camp" for the Mammoth March with the basic comforts of home and a hot tub to soothe weary bodies. The Ravine Trail Cabin met these needs and more. Before I say anything about the cabin, I must say the hosts are lovely and accommodating as well as great resources for information about the area. Plus their dog is a sweetheart (even if she is quick to jump into open car windows). As for the cabin, there is a slight damp smell when first arriving as others noted, but that quickly dissipated after we ran the AC for a few hours. The place was remarkedly clean and free of bugs/pests which was really surprising given the proximity to the woods and the lake. Furnishings, television, other amenities are dated but work just fine. The kitchen has the basic needs but bring your own spices as the central Ohio humidity fused what we found into rocks. Outside the hot tub was hot and the deck great for coffee in the morning. This place is perfect for anyone looking to unplug (no wifi but passable cell service) and enjoy all the natural beauty of the area. I highly recommend this and the other properties the hosts have on premises.

Summary: Such a cute place! The host was amazing, we had a big storm pass through which kicked out the electric for a bit. The host was right over with a basket full of lanterns and battery powered lights as well as checking on us to make sure we were ok. Also sent us updates on when the electric was expected back on. Will surely be back!

Summary: The cabin was satisfactory except for the fact that i got 10 mins into my shwer and ran out of hot water, i could've even rinse the conditioner out of my hair. I called and spoke with Emma who informed me that it is a new 25 gallon hot water heater that usually provides hot water for a 10 minute shower which she said should be sufficient. 10 minutes is definitely not log enough in my opinion. Im a tall girl with long legs that needed shaved and long hair. I have a nice RV if i wanted to deal with 10 minute showers i would have just stayed in my RV. Also like the other reviews state the place smelled musty like old wet towels.
