Gharb is a very quiet village situated in the west of Gozo yet has all amenities. Here you find 3 restaurants and a pub and 2 supermarkets. Bus comes every hour and gets you to the main terminal in the capital Victoria from where you can reach everywhere. Razzet Ta' Pawlu farmhouse is right in the country side where you can go for very nice walks up to the sea cliffs and enjoy the fresh air our country offers. This farmhouse was an original farmhouse over 300 years old and we renovated it in 1998 to make it a very nice comfortable villa with pool. All the house is private even pool and pool area. Only 2 rooms were built new, all the rest is in its original status. It has 4 double bedrooms and 1 single which 2 are en-suit. We can accommodate extra 3 persons sharing bedrooms. Kitchen and dining room equipped for 12 people. This farmhouse is rented by me and my wife Laura. We live 5 min away and so take care of our customers like friends and come to the farmhouse everyday. This farmhouse is fully air-conditioned (optional), good for the hot summer and central heating in winter.

Summary: Ta Pawlu farmhouse is a comfortable and well equipped house which was perfect for our family holiday.There was everything that we needed in order to relax and stay cool in the Gozo summer sun. The pool is fantastic and both children and adults spent many hours relaxing and keeping cool in it.The host Jesmond, was very helpful in organising airport transfers and car hire, ensuring that things went as smoothly as they could.The village of Gharb was well situated for us to explore the island which just keeps on giving.This was a great place to stay and we would have no hesitation in going back.

Summary: A wonderful old stone farmhouse, situated in a pretty side street, with every thing you need for a great holiday. We used the 3 upstairs rooms, all ensuite, which looked out over the beautiful courtyard. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool which was almost 9 foot deep at one end. There are a couple of supermarkets within walking distance and a short drive takes you to Victoria where you will get all the shopping you could possibly need. The house was within a short walking distance to a couple of good restaurants and all of this in a peaceful village. The island is small; so villages, monuments, churches and places to swim and snorkle are easily reached, some on foot. You really couldn't ask for more. Jesmond is a perfect host, he arranged our airport transfers and car hire and was easily accessible and very helpful answering my many questions during the booking process. We will definitely return!

Summary: With only 2 of us, this 5 bedroom property was plenty of space. It has a pool terrace plus 2 separate courtyard seating areas which was fantastic. It's in a great location, down a quiet passageway but very close to a bus stop which meant we could get anywhere on the island very quickly. Easy access to the coastal path meant great walking territory too.If like us you don't have a hire car, make sure you time your food shopping (Lighthouse supermarket was good) with the bus as it's a hilly walk back to the villa! Good restaurants within easy walking distance (we particularly liked Tatitas in St Lawrence).The house was generally good, although a little tired in terms of furnishings, and Jesmond was really helpful and made regular contact to ensure our stay went well.Overall, this is a great property if you want a quiet, relaxing stay with easy access to other areas on the island.

Summary: We stayed at the farmhouse for the first 2 weeks in june, Jesmond. met us at the farmhouse and showed us round, the farmhouse was lovely and very spacious, lots of charm, the pool which was private was very deep, my husband and I spent many a happy hour cooling down in the pool, the farmhouse was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn't hire a car as there was a bus stop outside the farmhouse that will take you into Victoria, the bus comes once an hour. It was just a short walk into the village with plenty of places to eat. We mainly went to the Rangers bar very friendly people and good food. Overall we had a fantastic time. Jesmond was very helpful and friendly helping us out with transfers and any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again it was so peaceful and quiet. Hope to go back soon.
