Negative: Door code didn't work. After several text messages we were instructed to locate the hidden lock box with the key in it. There was only one key for our entire visit. The exterior of the home was very unkempt. The Wi-Fi and internet was almost inoperable. Reminded me of old dial-up service. Advertised as two King beds but one was not a king bed. Deck was strewn with branches and leaves and just dirt and Moss. Light switches were very confusing and the remotes for the fans and TV were inoperable. Overall it's a nice place but has many maintenance issues. I could keep going on but I don't think it's fair to me too critical. Would love to come back but wouldn't even consider it until I was assured that all of the maintenance issues were addressed.

Negative: Upon our return from dinner, there was no water Had to wait for repairman. Finally had water about midnight.
Summary: We liked the house, but it could use some maintenance.

Negative: 1. When we arrived, door code did not work even after numerous tries. Called guest services who helped retrieve the key. 2. The downstairs shower leaked; apparently dripping from the ceiling. Needs repair!!! 3. We used one of the vegetable dishes to heat something in the microwave - see photo. The dish clearly states “microwave and dishwasher safe “ but the dish broke. We left it on kitchen counter.
Summary: Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Positive: The house and location were wonderful! Everything was spotless and tidy. VERY comfortable bed. Wonderful house for my golden retriever because we could take a nice walk several times a day. Well stocked kitchen. Bonus was washer and dryer. We hiked all day and it was nice to be able to wash our clothes. The outdoor space was lovely but didn’t get to use it too often. It is a great house! Deer were around most of the time we were there. 14 one night in the meadow next to the house.. well
Negative: Through no fault of the owners we had an issue getting into the property. After a 5 hour trip this was a most disconcerting issue as 2 weeks prior we were on Hilton Head and rented another property Vacasa managed that we also could not get in. The battery on the coded lock was dead. Do they EVER check these locks to make sure they work? Housekeeping should check after they clean.
