!! We can guarantee you we have the most affordable rate for being in the center of town! Since we are new owners, we want to quickly get our property out there for guests to enjoy. Relax at your home away from home which is in one of the best locations to enjoy our beautiful town on foot. We promise that you will not be disappointed with our location!
This second floor apartment is perfect for 2 couples with privacy plus a child or two. It is also ideal for families or friends. Two private bedrooms and sitting area comfortably sleep up to 5 guests. One bedroom has a queen bed and a second bedroom has a double bed and the 5th person would sleep on a day bed in the living room area. We can accommodate a 6th person with a rollaway bed (if its available) but you must let us know at booking.
We are located in a perfect spot to walk around town. We are less than a 10 minute walk to the Lincoln's Gettysburg Address Memorial and a 5 minute walk to the Jennie Wade house! Lincoln Square is a leisurely 15 minute walk!! No need to take your car and struggle to find parking. We have a designated spot for you to leave it at the apartment. Some of our top rated restaurants in town are the Dobbin House, Farnsworth House,Tommy's Pizza and Appalachian Brewing Company which are just are steps from our place! If you feel like taking a little ride, you can hop on and off the trolley that runs within town.
Enjoy our free wifi or watching television with cable channels. We include all linens and towels to make your stay feel like you're at home. The kitchen has a refrigerator, range/oven and microwave. Also, included are pots and pans, serving ware, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. This is a second floor rental with a private entrance on the outside of the home.
You can plan numerous day trips to Harrisburg/Hershey area (50 miles), Lancaster (45 miles), and Washington DC (60 miles).

Summary: Great location in Gettysburg! My daughter and I pick a haunted location every year to go on ghost hunting adventures. (Was actually kind of hoping this property was haunted lol). We were able to walk to most of the shops and dining. Right across the street from the National Cemetery. The owner was very accommodating and respected our privacy. The apartment was very clean, though we did notice a mouse trap under a bed and found droppings after the first night on the kitchen sink. Not a big deal, but I would have liked to have been informed of the possibility. Overall, it was a great place to stay!!

Summary: Daughter and I came to see Re-enactments and visit for 160 th anniversary. This location close to a lot of things whether walking or driving. Some noise with traffic but not bad. If you can walk stairs I highly recommend.

Summary: This was a first of things. My first time scheduling a rental via Vrbo or anything similar. It was so easy. The process was easy and the information about the property was spot on. I was not only contacted by Vrbo but the property owner contacted me as well. All though we never met I could tell she was trustworthy. She answered my emails, texts and phone calls right away. As for the house it's self it was perfect for my family (2 adult children, my son in law, 9 year old and 8 month old and myself). The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. We were able to walk to most everything and if we did drive it was only a short one. We definitely will be booking again as I can never grow tired of Gettysburg. It was nice finally getting to share it with my family.

Summary: Definately was in the middle of it. On one of the main streets, bounded on both sides by a motel. It was a cozy place, second floor, comfortable bed and definately filled our needs. We could walk to dinner or a tavern, and the places we went to see were about 5 minutes by car. Just had a slight musty smell that went away from going in and out during our stay.

Summary: Great location on the north end of Cemetery Ridge near Cemetery Hill, the Soldiers National Monument (right across the street), and the Soldiers National Cemetery. Have stayed there twice and plan to again because of the proximity to the battlefield.
