This cozy mountain cottage located high on Ivy Log Mountain truly feels like it's miles from civilization, yet you're only minutes away from Blairsville town center. Downtown Blue Ridge is just 20 minutes away. You can be in Ellijay, Hiawasee, or Murphy N.C. in less than 45 minutes. And Dahlonaga and Helen are just an hour away.
When you first enter this cozy mountain cottage, you'll gaze upon the beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace, the hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The kitchen comes with granite counter tops, refrigerator, microwave, electric stove, coffee pot, toaster oven and all the dishes , pots and pans and utensils you'll need for your stay. Just bring the food you love to eat. Master bedroom with its floor to ceiling tongue and groove woodwork is a restful oasis after a long day of hiking, antiquing or shopping. The main level bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub. The loft area has a cozy sleeping area and a full bathroom with a glass and tile shower. The terrace level has an amazing regulation size slate pool table, bonus TV room and laundry with washer and dryer.

Summary: My wife and I wanted a short getaway where we could just relax and do as little or as much as we wanted. This was the ideal place. Only a few minutes from town but fairly secluded; the last rental on a "no outlet" road (except for one more private cabin). The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Summary: This cabin was everything we needed! It was very comfortable and the amenities were exactly as described. The view is incredible! And, it is secluded but also convenient to town. We will definitely be back!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was nice to be able to do laundry as well. We didnt use the pool table or loft area, the porch with the view was the best part. Would love to visit again.

Summary: Beautiful property. Peaceful and private. The view is better in person. Cottage was clean and everything worked properly. Park out front. Don't be a dummy like me and brave the driveway before reading the house rules. (My truck got out fine, but cars will have a rough go). I only have two warnings. The road is a little intimidating, but you can make it. My wife's Flex got there without any problem. Just make sure you don't miss the road. The tub on the main floor is confusing. You'll figure it if you mess with it for a couple minutes. Really enjoyed the week. We will definitely stay again!

Summary: A beautiful cottage with an incredible view of the mountains, nestled in a wooded mountainside. I had just what I needed....an outdoor jacuzzi, indoor gas fireplace, comfortable bed, kitchen to make my meals, privacy and quiet in nature. The perfect getaway to hike nearby waterfall trails and decompress. The fireplace was not working st first but John fixed it so I could have a night sipping some tea in front of the fire before I left. I highly recommend.
