Summary: The stay at Vitorio Vinetta was really pleasant since we hoped for a nice mountain lookout. The home is situated above the village with easy in and out parking. The view is spectacular over the family's vineyard and olive orchard. Behind the home is a towering mountain with a surprise walking trail to a church on the top of the hill with an even better view and a good trattoria. Caterina and Antonia are very nice and answered every question we had about the house and the area. We had a wonderful stay.

Summary: This was the perfect get away for the two of us. stunning mountain and hillside views. The house is cosy and rustic, very homely and comfortable. Beautiful decor. Quiet and private. The hot tub/spa room was a very nice touch and a very relaxing addition. Antonia and her family where very nice and accommodating, and they gifted us with some of there homemade proseco. The location is great for mountain and lake walks and easy to get to venice on the train. The local town is quiet and pleasant for a stroll and aperitivo in the evening. Could not recommend enough! We loved it and hope to return again!

Summary: Staying at the home of Antonia & Maurizio was one of the most wonderful holiday experiences we've ever had. The chalet is a dream. It is completely yours for your entire stay- the family is located down the hill in a separate house. You walk into the stone and wood cabin which brings a cozy and comfortable feeling. You immediately feel at home as you walk into a clean and tidy house ready to meet all your holiday needs! You can snuggle up on the sofa to the stone fire place next to the TV where you can watch movies (make sure to bring some) and drink coffee or hot chocolate. There is an endless supply of espresso and cooking supplies in order to make amazing Italian food in your own little, but fully functioning kitchen. The bedroom is not only beautiful, but comfortable. You wake up every morning in a cozy big bed with white sheets to the sun coming up over the amazing view of Veneto, which you see from the balcony outside your room. If it's to warm, no problem, just turn on the AC. The bathroom is big, clean and also has a wonderful view from the door which leads you out onto the balcony. You can spend the afternoons hiking up the hills around the Chalet to an even more amazing view of Veneto at the historical chapels along the way. Take a day trip to Venice (1 hour away by train) Or maybe you want to take it easy by playing, drinking coffee, barbecuing on the grill, or sun bathing in the garden- which is surrounded by a beautiful vineyard. Down in the town you can roam around, jump from shop to shop, eating amazing food and of course see the breathtaking architecture or the old city. But of course, the most fabulous part of this chalet, and the best way to end every evening, is the hot tub. It's located inside the stone room attached to the Chalet. You can keep the doors open and enjoy the stars and city sky line, or keep them closed to feel more private. There is an assortment of tea and a MP3 player to enjoy your music while you sit and relax. But we have to say, even though the home and town were amazing, the family was probably our favorite part. They welcomed us with hugs and wine from their vineyard and made us feel absolutely at home. If you wanted to spend time with them, they were available, and if you wanted to be alone it was like you were on your own private island. It was the perfect hospitality. We promise, you will not regret coming here- it's everything and more you could imagine for a lovely Italian holiday!

Summary: The stay at Chalet Casacoccinella was like staying in an authentic Italian oasis. My girlfriend flew in from Oklahoma wanting to spend some time in the mountains. This cottage was quaint and romantic with a spa like atmosphere and views of the town below. The feeling was like being in heaven after a day of skiing thanks to the hot tub, heating blankets, and fire place. The views of the vineyards and mountains from the bedroom balcony alone would have sold me, but the cottage was also immaculately clean and comfy for two. Antonella was so welcoming and accommodating, it felt like we were family guests. It was a wonderful stay and perfect romantic weekend. We hope to come back soon!!

Summary: Nice country retreat in the foothills of the Dolomites in Vittorio Veneto. The hosts were wonderful and the house charming as pictured. The fireplace was a welcome pleasure in the cool October evenings. Day trips to Venice are possible by train as are many other destinations. The town of Saraville has everything you need whether eating out or cooking in. The driveway to the house is quite steep and took a bit of getting used to. All in all a great place for a relaxing getaway.
