Welcome to our newly renovated 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom lodge on the banks of Wolf Creek in Narrows, Virginia – nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains and only 2 miles to the New River and 8 miles to the Appalachian Trail. This home offers a unique blend of modern comfort and natural beauty, making it the perfect getaway for families, nature enthusiasts, adventure seekers and those looking to unwind in comfort while surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of 12 acres on Wolf Creek.
Upon entering the spacious living area, the gas fireplace and tasteful decor set the stage for memorable family moments. The fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a large eat-in island is ready to prepare delicious meals while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. An upstairs living area is a great place for the kids to set up their gaming equipment or to watch a football game.
This retreat offers four thoughtfully designed bedrooms ensuring ample space for families to recharge. The ground floor master suite with a king bed has its own private bath with a walk in shower and massage jets. The master also has a private screened porch to enjoy your morning coffee. Two additional bedrooms upstairs have queen beds and are near the fully remodeled upstairs bathroom. The 4th bedroom is a huge bonus room with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds that we call "the bunkhouse". Cozy linens, memory foam mattresses, and charming furnishings promise a restful night's sleep, setting the scene for another day of adventure.
Beyond the comfort of the indoors, the expansive yard provides a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, inviting families to enjoy activities by the water, including the added thrill of fishing along the serene banks of Wolf Creek. Wolf Creek is stocked with rainbow trout from Fall to Spring and has great smallie fishing in the summer. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and stargazing.
For nature enthusiasts, the property's proximity to the Appalachian Trail opens up a world of exploration, while the excellent fishing opportunities along Wolf Creek and the New River beckon anglers of all skill levels. The surrounding Giles County offers a myriad of trails, parks, and local attractions, ensuring there's always something new to discover. Summary: My family loved this house! It was clean, spacious, and had more than enough sleeping accommodations. We spent a lot of time in the stunning backyard, where we went tubing in the creek and made smores by the fire pit. I would definitely book this house again and would recommend it to others!

Summary: Hurricane Helene came through just prior to our visit. The property management was extremely communicative of the status of the property, and worked quickly to prepare it for our stay. Our group was preparing for my son’s wedding. The creek gave the men some reprieve from the buckets and bouquets of flowers being crafted on the expansive kitchen island and wedding paraphernalia covering the bay window seat, the many stools around the Island and the LR fireplace hearth. There were plenty of pots and pans to prepare a meal for all 12 of us, and the separate coffee bar was most helpful with that many people mulling around in a sleepy stupor on early mornings. We all took turns enjoying a shower in the expansive master bathroom. Note that there is one large mirror in that bathroom only. The other bath upstairs has a small mirror, but it is not sufficient for all of the primping that ensued. With multiple families staying here, we had to be very thoughtful in who all would stay in the upstairs bedroom that contains most of the sleeping spaces, And who would get the honor of sleeping in the single king bed in the large master bedroom. After returning from a long day at the event location in WV, we relaxed in the Adirondack chairs on the back deck. The sound of the creek running over rocks serenaded us as we counted millions of stars with no light pollution. It was a perfect house for everyone in our group.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in excellent condition, newly renovated, and very spacious. We loved taking in the beautiful views and pristine waterfront. Would highly recommend for family and friends looking to get away together.

Summary: House was immaculate. Big. Comfortable, Very well stocked and equipped. Great and quick communication with owners. Easy in and out. We had 6 adults and one toddler and really enjoyed the wide open space both inside and out. River and views are beautiful. Narrows has a very nice IGA within minutes of the house. Would definitely return for family time.

Summary: Thought the traffic on the road on the other side if the creek was more than anticipated but the property was very nice. A large dining table would have been nice for our adult group of 8 but the island sufficed. Overall would definitely stay again.

Summary: This property is perfect for a family get-a-way. It’s privately located and has one of the best spots on the creek. Great for swimming, fishing and light tubing. It has tons of space both indoor and outdoor. The only downsides were not much closet space, the master bath doesn’t have much counter space and it did not have a dining table for family dinners, but it did have plenty of bar seating. Overall it’s the perfect spot for relaxing, camp fires at night and bird watching.

Summary: We had a great stay at this home. This spacious house was very clean and had every amenity we needed. The location is somewhat secluded, but close to town. We would stay here again if visiting the area!
