Lovely 4 bedroom renovated stone farmhouse in an idyllic rural setting in the hills of northern Portugal. Within easy reach of Porto airport, 90 kms away. A place to get away from it all and completely unwind. Be as lazy or as active as you like. Ideal for those who love the countryside, authentic areas and the great outdoors. Hills and forests on your doorstep. 20 minutes to the scenic river Minho on the border with Spain. 25 minutes to beautiful blue-flag, white-sand beaches. Large secluded garden on terraces with pool, barbecue area and magnificent views of the valley and surrounding hills. Sleeps 9, ideal for families and groups. Spacious and fully-equipped open-plan kitchen/living room. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Central-heating in all rooms, plus two log fireplaces. Table football and games in the adega (old winery) where there is also a bar and extra dishwasher. This games room leads out onto the barbecue area with a large outside dining table under the olive tree, with views across the valley to the mountains. Large selection of books in English. The salt water pool is fenced in with lockable gates, and this also has panoramic views. There are lots of nice walks in the area, straight out of the house. And there's much to explore in the area, from beaches, rivers and mountains, to old villages, farmer markets and restaurants. As day trips, Porto, Peneda-Gerรชs National Park and Galicia in Spain are all good ideas. We're officially registered for tourism as an Alojamento Local. We've been doing holiday rentals here since 2008 and we've had lots of happy guests. Summer is the most popular time to visit, but it's a lovely place to visit year-round.

Summary: very nice place and classical house in the mountain with incredible view and nice swimming pool we had a lovelytime here with the whole family, 9 pax and 2 dogs you just have to keep in mind you are tucked in the mountain and need about 30mn to the next supermarket, but this was just perfect for us from there you can easely visit Braga, Porto, Guimaraes, Ponte de Lima etc... and go to the sea it was perfect also with the dogs as there are many hiking trails in the mountains just around the house thank you Adria, it was nice to meet you

Summary: My family consisted five adults, two children aged 5 and two infants. The Villa is in a beautiful location on a hillside overlooking a valley, if you are seeking seclusion, peace and quiet and out of the rat race, this is for you. A very well appointed Villa, well equipped a lovely pool and garden area that the kids really enjoyed and is ideal for barbecues. The owner Adria was lovely too, very helpful and her attention to detail was great. Would certainly recommend this place to others. Ray and family August 2022

Summary: A fantastic lovely house! Lots of space and privacy. A nice pool. A great and beautifully maintained garden. And the view was to die for. We enjoyed our stay very much. Fully equipped house.
