Welcome to 115 Cullen Street in Dewey Beach/Rehoboth by the Sea. This old-school Dewey Cottage was partially renovated in the spring of 2017, and then further updated during the winter of 2022. There is one king bedroom on the main level, and one full bath with a tub shower. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms: one is master suite with full bath, two are larger rooms with multiple beds, and one is a smaller alcove-bedroom with two twin beds. Downstairs there is a front living room, dining area, and a back sitting/game room, as well as an open plan kitchen with 8-person eat-in island. It features a newly renovated kitchen, new hardwood throughout, a front deck addition, 2 new hot water heaters (so no one has a cold shower), two stack washer dryers, central HVAC, and new insulation and siding. Not only is the home beautiful inside, the lush, landscaped grounds are gorgeous. The oversized backyard is fully fenced, with a 24x12 in-ground, heated pool, chaise seating, a hammock, fire pit, dining area and lots of room to spread out and enjoy the sun or the shade. The outside shower has been expanded to include a washboard sink and sprayer station to make beach clean-up fast and easy. The front of the home features a large deck with potted watering plants and palms, a porch swing and rockers. Parking for 3 cars. Please note this is a non-smoking property, no exceptions.

Summary: The house afforded us a wonderful family vacation! It was close enough to the beach so no need to pack lunches but instead walk back. The pool was very nice and overall the house is pretty and cosy. We had a few concerns about the lack of grab bars, rusted out grill, and weeds invading the back yard. The manager’s reply couldn’t have been nicer, and hopefully those things have been improved upon. It was also a bit on the small side for our family of 11 adults.

Summary: When you travel alot its really noticeable when an owner cares about the property and whether the guests feel attended to. This was our experience. Lovely home. Great location. An owner who made us feel welcome.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay with parents, grandparents and three small children. Quick walk to the beach, very accessible to town of Dewey and nice to have pool option. It was very easy and efficient to communicate with owner. We would stay at this or similar property again in the future ☺️

Summary: My extended family stayed at the Dewey Beach cottage over Thanksgiving. The kitchen is wonderful - large enough for our group to put together the full dinner (and several other meals), and everything is very new and fresh. The spaces were exactly as pictured. We were lucky to have clear 60s-degree weather over the holiday and enjoyed the rockers on the sunny front porch and several walks along the wide beach, which is 1 1/2 blocks from the house. Would love to come back in summer and enjoy the pool area. It's a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and we felt tucked away from the traffic. Communication with Lynn was very easy and the check-in process was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Summary: The Cottage on Cullen is both charming and cozy. The thoughtful decorating and attention to detail are so impressive …. each room had a personality all its own! Our grandchildren loved the “shark” decor in their bedroom. We took advantage of each space including the front porch with its rocking chairs and the pool area with ample seating and a fire pit. The close proximity to the beach was yet another advantage to this property. Our host was kind enough to inform us that we could check in early since all housekeeping had been completed. The cottage on Cullen offers all the ingredients for a perfect vacation!
