Our Place is a main floor bungalow and unique because it can accommodate a single person, a couple OR a Family, our house has 3 bdrm, 2 full baths, 3 smart TV’s, kitchen, breakfast, Living/Dining Room, Laundry, Huge Deck off the Upgraded kitchen with outdoor living space, where you can enjoy your own BBQ and sunshine! Pool is heated & 5ft deep all across, with plenty of outdoor furniture for dining & sitting areas! Feel free to bring your own pool floaters. Family Friendly Neighborhood and Retirement Neighborhood as well!
Pool closed from October to May seasonally. No Smoking, No Pets, No Commercial Vehicles, Boat, RV”s s or Trailers! Parking for 2 cars max in driveway, other vehicles can street park during May to October.. Close by attractions include Friday Harbour Resort 5 mins, Centennial Park Beach 5 mins, Wasaga Beach 30 mins, Hardwood Hills Ski and Bike 15 mins, Snow Valley Resort 20 mins, Famous Blue Mountain Resort 45 mins, 5 Minutes Downtown Barrie, 30 Minutes to Horse Shoe Valley Ski Resort. Summary: From the moment we arrived we were impressed with everything! Communication with the host was quick and easy, everything in in listing was accurate, all the amenities listed helped make our stay enjoyable. Now, the pool and the backyard, all I can say is this will be hard to beat! The pool was beautiful and the temperature was just right. There is a covered patio and plenty of outdoor patio furniture. This was our first visit to the Barrie area, I’m just so glad we choose this property rather than a hotel!

Summary: My husband and I rented this property for 4 nights for the Labour Day weekend. The property is as described. It's clean and very well-stocked (kitchen stuff, towels, soap/shampoo, etc.) It has a wonderful huge backyard area with a great pool, wood-burning stove (fire pit), lots of seating and a nice propane BBQ. This house is in a regular residential neighbourhood, so there are close neighbours on either side. The backyard is surrounded by trees so there is still good privacy. On our first night, we could hear neighbours on one side in their backyard but it wasn't too bad. We didn't hear anything the rest of the time. Also, there is a main road nearby so we did hear sporadic car and motorcycle noise (not a big deal - the main road is separated by a small wooded area so the noise was not loud). We had good communication with the property owner. There was a slight hiccup when we hadn't received the keyless entry code by our check-in time (seems to have been some kind of glitch with the VRBO app), but I texted the property owner and she replied immediately with the code and other useful info. Shopping and beach areas were very nearby. Overall, we would recommend this property for a relaxing "cottage-like" stay.

Summary: We rented the property as part of our visit from the UK. The property is clean and tidy and very welcoming. The pool was fantastic and was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. Carm and rob have really thought about everything you could want for a short break, the loungers, dining areas, BBQ. Plenty of outdoor seating. Will definitely come back on our next visit to Canada. Check in was easy and Communication with Carm was quick in replying. Thank you For everything.

Summary: Very comfortable cottage. The standard of everything is excellent. We had excellent nights sleeps in super comfy beds. Very clean and big swimming pool with warm water. Lots of neat outdoor furniture. Everything was perfect except one issue: After check-in, I had a question from the owner and sent text message for her via the App., text message and call. Unfortunately, she didn’t reply back. By the way I will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back.

Summary: We chose this propery because of the pool and floorplan, both of which did not dissapoint. My kids like sleeping in bunk beds, and it was a nice surprise to see that the bunk beds were actually bigger than normal and could fit 2 kids each. The pool was awesome and we spent much of our visit swimming. The location is excellent - the neighbrhood is quiet and safe, but very close to restaurants, pharmacies and downtown Barrie. We would definitely stay here again!
