Positive: I liked the friendliness of the staff, the room #1 I was provided (double bed- what a treat), the feeling of safety as a solo traveler, the constant cleanliness of the bathroom areas.
Negative: The bed could have been comfier.

Positive: Everything, from the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out the staff and managers could not be any more hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. As far as sports go, all were covered on 3 televisions and one big screen Thanks Dan and Andrew, and staff.
Negative: Only one complaint was that on the Saturday night the all blacks were playing and the 400 odd patrons who wanted to watch that game was given preference over the both of us that wanted to watch the NRL and we were relegated to the back corner. At least Dan made sure we were comfortable and could watch our game

Positive: Seaside view, and nice pub to enjoy a drink or 2.
Negative: The kitchen facilities is too limited and can’t do even simple cooking except toaster and microwave

Positive: The place is in a good location, there is a local fruit market on the other side of the street! The room was nice and comfy, all the shared spaces regularly cleaned. Bathroom had hot water and a good water pressure.
Negative: I didn't realize while looking at the photos that there is no real window in the room, which was a bit disappointing as you needed to have the light on almost all the time.
