A soulful, homely Chelsea flat 600sqft in size cosy apartment. Guests will surely enjoy the brand new sleek & stylish style kitchen, with its top of the line appliances. The neighbouring plump sofas and cosy log working fire place are the perfect spot to kick back after a long day exploring London. Guests lodging from August 2021, enjoy the brand new Therapur Actigel 2200 Luxury Mattress, with temperature regulating technology for a perfect nights sleep.
The space
Located just two minutes from the Thames and its towpath, we recommend an evening stroll (weather permitting) to watch the city sparkle. In the other direction, guests will find the Kings Road and its various shops, cinemas, galleries and bistros. My personal favourites include Megan's on New Kings Road. Jaks Kings Road & also a spot of sunday roast at the local English pub's Lots Road or the Chelsea Ram. I also enjoy jogging along the river which is extremely relaxing.

The property is a one bedroom basement flat with an additional sofa bed in the living room, and the entire basement flat is available for guests to use.

I like to leave my guests small gifts upon checkout so do not be alarmed this is a token of my appreciation of your custom . Also please do let me know if you are celebrating a special occasion or birthday. Unfortunately we do not host guests under the age of 21.

Summary: What I liked: Nice neighborhood with a park and pub/restaurants nearby. Well appointed throughout. Nice bathroom with great heated towel bar. Washing machine. UBS ports at wall outlets. Beautiful fireplace. Close to Kings road bus lines. Beautiful large TV. What I didn’t like: only one window at front of flat. Poor lighting in lounge area which turned on and off due to construction in flat directly above. No bedside tables so had to put things on floor. No laundry soap so we left some for next renter. Only a few towels provided but we did have the washing machine.

Summary: This apartment/lower ground flat has everything you could need. It's gorgeous. The host responded to all my requests promptly and I could not have been happier. I hope to stay again sometime soon

Summary: We stayed at the Chelsea apartment 3 nights in early January. A little over a week prior to our arrival I contacted the host, Melisa, to request the street address so I could schedule a taxi from the airport. She initially refused to send it to me and said it was on the VRBO site, which it wasn't. She wasn't very friendly but after several emails later that night she provided the address and check-in information. When we arrived in London about a week later our flight was early and I called Melisa to see if we could check-in early. Her response was not Hi or Welcome to London but "What time is listed on the site for check-in? What time is listed for check-out?". She didn't offer any options or say she would check on the apartment's availability but simply said we couldn't check-in early because of the cleaning. We certainly understood that they needed time to complete their cleaning and we had not requested early check-in prior to that date, but her rude response surprised me. She later called me back and allowed us to check-in an hour early and told us to "read the house rules". The apartment is in a great location and well-appointed for a 1 bedroom basement apartment. It's in a nice neighborhood and close to restaurants, shopping and transportation. However, guests are not allowed to adjust the heat so we had to contact Melissa to set the apartment temperature for us, and we could hear the nextdoor neighbor a couple of nights practicing his saxophone. When we checked-out I got a message from the host thanking us for being a "5 star guest". Overall we enjoyed our trip to London and stay at the Chelsea apartment after some initial problems communicating with the host.

Summary: We recently visited London and stayed in this apartment. We found it very clean and cozy. It had all the amenities one could ask for being away from home. The area was quiet and secure. Summary: We stayed at the property for almost a month and had a great time. This review is from the viewpoint of an American from the South. The property itself is basement level accessible directly from the street in a charming neighborhood. We had adequate cooking supplies to eat at home most nights for the majority of our stay. There was a substantial amount of closet space for 2 people. Although there was no AC, it stayed pretty cool and a travel fan was more than ample for the time of year. There is also a skylight that opens in the bedroom to provide fresh air. Shower pressure and temp were great, got plenty hot. Internet was very fast and more than enough for 2 people to take video calls at the same time. The neighborhood is a residential mostly quiet area with a school down the street and a park around the corner. The neighborhood pub, The Chelsea Ram is great as well, made lots of friends almost as soon as we walked in. Lots of gyms nearby as well. The location is within walking distance to a few grocery stores including a Whole Foods. The river being only a few blocks away was nice. Melisa was great and super responsive before and during our stay. Overall I'd have no hesitancy about staying here again and hope to do so in the future.

Summary: We chose this flat for a couple of reasons; the first being we wanted to stay in Chelsea. Located on a quiet street it was a perfect location. Easy bus access, Westfield Park a block away and an easy walk to Battersea Park and Chelsea Harbor. There's also a variety of restaurants within a short walking distance. Another reason were the photos. The flat looked beautiful and comfy. Upon arrival we saw just how beautifully done up it is. Extremely comfortable, a gas fire to turn on for chilly nights, lots of closet space and storage. We had everything we needed to feel at home for the 3 weeks we stayed in the flat. An added plus is Melisa. What a great host! She is extremely accommodating and always quick to reply to any questions. We've stayed many places in the area over the years and this is definitely at the top of the list!
