Positive: A family friendly place, be booked 2 rooms. İts very clean, accomodating host, location is perfect everything is walking distance, their breakfast is superb! Not only plentiful of spreads but also serving with moroccan salad and fava soup which i personally liked. Price is reasonable. The only issue why i gave 9 out of 10 because of the airconditioning unit. The first room is ok but the other room is not working well.
Negative: A/c not cooling well.

Positive: From the moment we entered the Riad, Fouad and his family made us feel so welcome. The Riad is fabulous, and we had a lovely room. Nothing was a problem for this family run Riad, and everything was done with a smile. The breakfast was superb, and we also availed of a laundry facility, which was a great help on our travels. The Riad is in a great location, so near the centre of the Medina. Fouad's neice Marwa runs a nearby family restaurant, Dar Hatim (sarl), and we were invited there, and got a delicious meal. We were going to rent a car to get to Chefchaouen, to continue our tour, and Fouad offered to drive us there, for a very nominal fee, and we got to see more of Fez on the way. Overall, a very memorable and happy stay at Riad Alfassia Palace.
Negative: Everything was great.

Positive: We have traveled in several cities in Morocco and we stayed in Riad AL FASSIA Palace 4 nights -- the best hotel we had in country. We felt we stayed at one of the King's palaces. The owner Fuad and his wife and two sons were the best hosts to us. Fuad came to the train station to pick us up, and dropped off to station when we left. We made a day trip to the city of Chefchaouen and Fuad took us to the bus terminal and after the trip he came to pick us up. The treated us like members of their family. Thank you so much, Fuad, and also to your lovely family.

Positive: The Riad is really a palace! The interior decor is amazing. I’m speechless to see all the details of the art decor. The host is very professional and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very spacious like you’re living In a palace. I highly recommended this Riad 100%

Positive: A recently renovated structure dating from 18th c. in a central location in the Medina. Renovations done in grand style true to period designs. No windows but spacious and comfortable. A true old Morocco experience. The hosts, Karina and Fouad and their three boys, treated us like family. Excellent food and friendly hospitality. I would stay there again.
Negative: Almost no daylight in the area. If you want open skies this place is not for you.
Summary: A grand Fes experience in the style of bygone times.

Positive: The family and employees are very kind and helpful. We arrived 8 hours later than expected due to a flight delay. Therefore, they had to drive to the airport twice. This was no problem at all for the riad. When we finally arrived at the end of the evening, they had kept their restaurant open and they made sure we could still have a 3-course meal even though all customers already left. This truly was the best restaurant we ate at during our 10 day stay in Morocco. On top, the view from the rooptop of the riad is spectacular.

Positive: An absolute recommend! This is a Riad where you can truly feel the warmth and the love of this family and how they put it in this riad! We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The rooms are exquisite and it feels a bit like staying in a palace. The woodwork was done by hand and is truly impressive! They go all out to make you feel welcome. We were a bit overwhelmed by hasslers who wanted to show us the way when we arrived to the medina but they were nice enough to wait for us outside. We made a little mistake with our reservation and it was easily solved and corrected. Also when leaving they made sure we found the bus stop allright! The breakfast is very good as well. The family also owns a restaurant which is the best food we've eaten in Morocco. Definitely try the family's specialties, chicken pastilla and the lamb tajine. We loved to go back in time and enjoy the sunset at the terrace which is amazing. They are making the riad bigger atm and might also put a pool in the future, which will make staying here unavoidable 🤭. Please do us a favor and stay here when going to Fez and give these people our best!! Josefien & Bastiaan

Positive: The staff could not do enough for you. They were personable and helpful. The property is in the medina itself but as you enter, you leave behind the chaos of the medina. What takes its place is quiet, calm in a beautiful building which the owners have obviously taken the time and care to restore and build. Breakfast was abundant and delicious! They also own a restaurant nearby; once again the food and service was outstanding.
Negative: We only stayed a night and really enjoyed our experience. The shower does spread out onto the rest of the bathroom which could be looked into; if I stayed longer it would start to bother me
