Positive: I ended up spending four nights at Riad Ghita. I chose it for the location, close to the Medina but easily accessed by car. The Medina is something else, I should have said yes to the Riad's offer of a guide. There's nothing like getting lost but it's really easy to do in Fes.. 😊 I came in February so was pleased to find heating in the room. The shower was good and hot. Friendly staff, good food, generally very quiet. No alcohol here but it's been good to have a break! Thanks all. Oh, they arranged airport transfers for me at reasonable cost.

Negative: A typical 19th-20th century Moroccan bedroom is fine. A bathroom upgrade would be nice--window that didn't close completely, shower that leaked spray out onto the floor. It all worked fine, just a little rough.

Positive: Really easy to get to , just a few steps from a main road. The entrance from the alleyway was deceiving. Once you stepped inside it was like walking into a fairytale. This is one of the most romantic places my husband and I have stayed in. Exquisite decoration and furnishings. We felt like we were staying in a palace. A feast for the eyes and balm for the soul .Our room was huge , it had a seating area with a coffee table and a large bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and changed every day. The staff are attentive . This place was like paradise.

Positive: The Riad Ghita is a beautiful place. The tile work and furnishings in the rooms and interior courtyard are fabulous. We had two rooms: one for my sons upstairs on the top floor (they didn’t mind walking up with their luggage), and one for me just off the courtyard. Both were lovely in different ways. The staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was generous, and one night we enjoyed a delicious dinner.
Negative: There was a mild sewer smell in the bathrooms, and mine was vented to the street outside, which allowed street noise and cold air in.
Summary: Gorgeous Riad, close to the edge of the Medina, so not too much dragging of luggage from the taxi. Very accommodating st

Positive: Friendly staff. Nice, clean and spacious room. Room gets cleaned and tidied daily. Location was easy to find.
Negative: Because of the design of the riads, you can hear other rooms and they can hear you. But it was still quiet and we slept well.
Summary: Lovely riad, nice staff, we recommend it!
