Summary: Excellent location, charming place and would definitely recommend staying during the fall (however be aware of the date that hotel shuts down as the services are cut) upshot is that there are less tourist from bus, boat arriving during the end of the season

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I could have stayed in all day to enjoy the view of the Danube. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and featured fresh and seasonal dishes. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and quality too.

Summary: Hotel is on beautiful grounds. Room was lovely and clean. It was very nice to have a nice outdoor balcony. Durnstein and the Wachau Valley is absolutely stunning. We rented bikes from the hotel for our three days while at the hotel....it was fantastic exploring the area, the bike paths are great! Only complaint is that the rooms do not have air conditioning and the weather was very hot....had to keep the sliding door open and because there was no screen it waa hard to keep flies out.

Summary: A beautiful hotel in the gorgeous town of Durnstein in the Wachua valley. This is what Napa Valley used to be. A must visit for the history and wine connoisseur.

Summary: We loved our 3-night stay in this charming historic hotel! We had a suite perfect for our family of four, a welcome respite after a long flight from the United States. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Be sure to take advantage of the bike rentals to ride along the path by the river, incredible views! We would love to return one day!
