Negative: The hallway had a strong odour of burnt soy / Chinese cooking. The tv wasn't very smart & wouldn't stay casting from my phone

Positive: Room was spacious and all facilities worked well on the whole. I liked the fact we could open the windows when we wanted. Although on a hill, it was very close to the CBD which enabled us to walk to most places. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Apart from some low level noise with children nearby, the Motel was very quiet. The pool although not heated was very clean. The whole common area looked clean. The gym was being updated whilst I was there so hard to comment. But it did look a good space. Good restaurants and pubs nearbly.
Negative: The bed was not the most comfortable. Would have preferred a more comfortable Queen sized bed. The saucepan and frypan were old, bumpy and with a broken handle on the saucepan. One of the mugs had chips in them. I mentioned this to staff who acted quickly and brought better utensils to our room which worked very well. The bathroom sink drain needs cleaning out as the water doesn't drain properly. Water leaks out of the shower through the corner of the entry way. We turned the bed around so as to make it more comfortable when we notice how dusty it was underneath. That would need an urgent vacuum.

Negative: There were no towel rails to hang our bath towels, no toaster in the kitchenette and when I asked the reception , there isn’t enough toasters. My daughter’s foldaway bed was extremely uncomfortable, the springs could be felt as the mattress was very old. She slept on 3 pillows on top of the mattress.
