Welcome to Right Rudder Retreat! Your next beach vacation home in beautiful Destin, Florida! We are a local military family and are delighted you will let us share Right Rudder Retreat with you for your VACATION!
Our luxury 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home sleeps up to 12 people & is the LARGEST 4BR in Destin’s PREMIER gated vacation community, THE VILLAGES OF CRYSTAL BEACH, equipped with the BEST POOL in the heart of Destin!
Premier shopping & dining within WALKING DISTANCE of your beach house :)
1st FLOOR:
Entertain your friends and family with a fully equipped kitchen, boasting large granite countertops and plenty of bar space & seating to plan and enjoy your sunny vacation days!
A spacious living room welcomes you home from a day on the beach with ample seating, comfort, a large flat screen tv, and plenty of Florida sunshine :)
The main Master Bedroom is located on the 1st floor, welcoming you with a KING size bed! The adjoining large master bath, anointed with granite countertops, a soaking bathtub, and a separate walk in shower provides all the comforts of home.
2nd FLOOR:
Climb to the 2nd story where an additional living room greets you! Often enjoyed as a secondary entertaining space, this space can give the kids a place to be kids, catch a movie, or play some board games!
Enjoy your view or a cocktail on your private 2nd story balcony! Wind down (or wine down!) with sunset as the sea breeze refreshes you after a full day of perfect vacation :)
The 2nd Master Bedroom upstairs has a king bed and adjoining master bath with all the comforts of home!
The 3rd bedroom welcomes you with a queen bed and access to the private front balcony. The 4th room boasts full size bunk bed and twin trundle! Great for kids after hours of sandcastle building and swimming. The two full beds are plenty big to host additional adults in your party too!
Should you find the need for some relaxing time at Right Rudder Retreat, you will find flat screen televisions in every bedroom and living room to stay in, relax, watch and enjoy. We also have a selection of books and games that can keep the FUN alive for the pop-up rain shower :)
THE POOL!
Amazing. It has a zero entry that kids and adults will love! Multiple WATERFALLS provide endless swimming fun and a perfect background. There is a wonderful HOT-TUB to enjoy and a TIKI-BAR you can use with your family and friends!
PRIME LOCATION:
It is no secret, there are lots of things to do in Destin! A short walk to Destin Commons provides a shopping and dining destination, sure to please everyone! Right Rudder Retreat is a short walk to the public beach entry - so no need to hunt for parking! Leave the car behind! Alternatively, there is a seasonal shuttle that will pick you up and transport you to/from the beach—for FREE! Summary: We had an amazing time at Right Rudder Retreat! We had a crew of 12 adults and there was plenty of room and beds! The community is Beautiful and the pool was fantastic! The property owners Kevin and Jessie, were super helpful and easy to get in touch with! We plan to stay here again next year!

Summary: Right Rudder Retreat was perfect for us 5 adult's, 2 kids, ages 7 and 4. It was very clean! We had my mother in law which is 67, with us so we didn't walk to the beach. The pool was cool. There is no tiki bar open at the pool. It's been closed for a couple of years. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. There's two coffee pots. That was very nice to have. Overall our stay was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kevin and Jessie!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Upon entering, I immediately notticed how clean it was! It was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone, especially the kitchen. The balcony was great for afternoon coffee with a relaxing breeze. My only real complaints were the upstairs master bedroom mattress which was sinking in the middle and some of the outdoor patio furniture needs to be replaced. The hosts were very nice and quick to respond to any questions I had.

Summary: Everything was great. Even let us turn down the air when asked. Our only complaint is the mattress need to be replaced with the king and queen upstairs. They fold in like a taco. If cooking you will need to buy all condiments and seasoning. We bought salt and pepper and donated. We also donated coffee filter and coffee.
