Positive: The host was accommodating and really looked after us so well. The property is homely, well-maintained and in a beautiful location. The hosts were super friendly, played football with my son, and did everything to make us comfortable.
Negative: Comfort of the beds and pillows. The beds were hard and the pillows were lumpy. Also, the mosquito net on one of our beds fell down during the night so we went without and there are a lot of bugs so I had a bit of bug anxiety during the night.

Positive: A real bamboo-style house with minimalistic decorations, a semi-outdoor bathroom and a very sweet dining area/chill space with shelter from the sun/rain. Amazing atmosphere at night, especially for those seeking cooler evenings enveloped in nature! Mosquito netting is provided (and essential) for the comfortable beds. Food is available on-site and we were also permitted to cook our own food over a camping stove. Friendly but discreet hosts.
Negative: It was an awesome place to stay - but it's very rural and quite isolated. Something some people love/hate so worth noting.
Summary: A rustic, mountainous bamboo-style cabin, close to nature and away from the rush of the city.

Positive: It perfectly located in the beautiful valley The on site restaurant makes very good food We can feel the family atmosphere Cai , the son, is a perfect host. He takes care of all needs and is very helpful. He knows all the beautiful spots around in Doi Ithanon. He also offer taxi service back to Chiang Mai. Cai is a wonderful person.
Negative: Nothing! All good!

Positive: This is the most special little gem of a place in Thailand!! If you can get yourself here via scooter from Chiang Mai, stay at least 2 nights and soak up the beauty of Doi Inthanon. We chose to stay here instead of the main village and we are so pleased we did! The room itself is basic but has everything you need. Chai went above and beyond to help us and offer us fresh produce from his garden! Their home cooked food was delicious as well. I will never forget the view from this place, so magical. Highly recommend.
Negative: You will need your own scooter or car if you want to explore the area.
Summary: Unbeatable experience run by the most amazing family!!

Positive: We were the only guests and the staff even picked us up from the local village. Nobody spoke any English but we communicated easily enough through Google translate. We received great coffee when we arrived and they even offered us some simple but delicious food in the evening. They were flexible and helpful in any way. The rooms are clean and come with a fan, kettle, towels, mosquito nets and water. Also more than enough electrical outlets.
Negative: No toilet paper, only the usual bidet.
Summary: Simple but beautiful and with great staff!
