Summary: We loved staying in the quiet town of Riolo Sardo away from the busy tourism hubs on the island. The house is an amazing traditional old building with a huge amount of character yet equipped with everything you could need to be able to really relax and settle in, both inside and out. Maria was very communicative and we Loved meeting her parents during the check in who with a lot of kindness and warmth showed us their family house.

Summary: We had a nice stay at the house. Since we were unlucky with the weather, we couldn't use the lovely backyard that much. Giuseppina and her husband were very friendly when they welcomed us. The main street of Riola Sardo can be quite busy, but you won't hear it in the back of the house and the backyard.

Summary: We had a very nice week together with our two sons (8 and 11 years old) in Riola Sardo. The appartment is really beautiful, but the highlight for us was the quiet and relaxing patio with the Kaki tree. All you need, like a supermarket or bakery is very close and Riola Sardo was a good starting point for all our activities like hiking and snorkling. Thanks a lot also to the kind and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: We (a couple with two adult daughters) spent two weeks in July 2019 in Giuseppina's house. It was our first time in Sardegna and we were glad just to be among Sardinians (and sheep) even during the summer season. The house has a very special atmosphere due to a delicate restoration, which we enjoyed a lot. As we come from Hamburg, we were not used to the heat even by night (which was not really surprising). But the beautiful patio was very inviting! And we managed to produce an airdraft inside the house and used the fan. The house is an ideal starting point for excursions to beautiful natural beaches, archeological sites, hiking or shopping in Oristano or one of the nearby farm shops. Riola Sardo itself is a lively community - unfortunately passed by many cars. (It seemed like construction works for a beltway were about to start.) We were lucky to participate the village festival St. Anna with live music and fireworks. Altogether we had the feeling to dive deep into the real Sardegna. Thanks for two impressive weeks!

Summary: We, 2 adults, rented the house for a week and used it as a base for day trips in the Oristano region. Concequently we used the house mostly for showering, sleeping and breakfast. We appreciated the space of the house, the 100% privacy, the original interior and the very kind,ly flexible , Englsh speaking owners and parents. Two attention points are to be mentioned (1) when more people are staying: the number of forks, spoons and knifes is rather limited which might trigger a dailly dish washing (not a main holiday activtiy :)) and (2) the house is situated in a rather busy street with not everywhere a sidewalk. But the busy street is not "audible" in the back part of the house (kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, bath room, hall) and the terras/garden. Conclusion: good price/quality rate.

Summary: A nice home in the village furnished in local style. The sleeping room at the front side of the house sometimes quite loud when bikers rush through the street, but the second sleeping room is absolutly quiet. Very recommendable! Owner is very helpful and kind!
