Positive: Our family of 4 stayed at this Ritz Carlton apartment, and we had a great time. The apartment was clean. We had everything we needed for a 7 day stay. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We used a rental car, and the valet was very efficient. The Burlock Coast restaurant in the lobby was very good and their happy hour is excellent.

Negative: the unit is not a 2 bath, it is 1.5 the balcony is directly over the very loud maintenance system, so, we spent no time there the kitchen sink faucet leaks we did not receive daily housekeeping as advertised

Positive: Location was very convenient to the beach and the pool was great.
Negative: It was a very busy location with 3 small kids, but we were able to make it work great for us. As an owned residence not serviced daily by the hotel, it was a bit of a challenge to get the hotel staff to provide additional essentials like dishwasher pods, garbage bags, etc.

Positive: The property was beautiful. Clean. Help staff did an amazing job. Property management company from the owner of our unit did a great job resolving a major issue we had. They also made it right by offering us a package to make up for what happened at the property.
Negative: The Ritz Carlton management staff was very disappointing. We had a major issue in our unit where it smelt like toxic fumes. Long story short, the Ritz Carlton management staff tried to blame us for what was clearly an internal hotel issue and would not allow us to change rooms in the middle of the night. It was a major safety hazard and after hearing how they tried to blame my group, it’s offensive. Luckily, the management group who oversees this property made it right. All we did was wanted to resolve the issue safely. Things happen. It sucks. It takes time away from your vacation. The important thing is that a solution presents itself efficiently and safely. I honestly can say that the Ritz management staff did a terrible job at honoring those simple principles of hospitality. The Ritz management should take lessons from the rest of the staff in that hotel. From the doorman, bellhop, people at the desk, servers at the pool. Those people were awesome and made the experience great. It’s a beautiful spot and assuming the issue gets resolved I would highly recommend staying there.
