4 Bedroom House in Maumee

*Cleaned by CDC Guidelines. Our family decided to make a project of this lovely craftsman home. It has the charm of it's 1960 construction and neighborhood then you walk in . . . your eyes will be met with the sparkle of a 2020 update & wonderful decorating.
The open floor plan and service for 8 people will make it easy for everyone to find their own space. Perfect for families and the work while awaycation. On the first floor . . . There is a large master bedroom and bathroom with a California king and private patio for morning coffee. A separate two bedroom suite offers a privacy door and a full bathroom. A spacious dinning room takes over the previous living room with plenty of seating and charm. Kitchen and family room share a great room concept with eating bars and coffee bar! The third bedroom is the entire upstairs of the home wrapped in knotty pine with a full bathroom. We call it the tree house. All mattresses are brand new with cozy sheets.
Small dogs are welcome with a private fenced in dog yard. Pets must be approved by the owner and secured with a deposit. One car garage to pull in and unload and plenty of parking.
Basement offers an office work station with printer, ping pong table and laundry facility. Whole house internet, Netflix and TV's in the great room and master bedroom.
One block from a river boat launch. With in walking distance you have . . Wolcott House Museum and Complex, Fort Miamis Park, Historical downtown Maumee, Movie Theater, Coffee Shop, Hiking trials along the River.
With in a five minute drive you have the Award winning Toledo Zoo, Historic Fort Megs and Fallen Timbers Battle Field/ Monument. Historical downtown Perrysburg with great shopping and restaurants. Fallen Timber Mall.
Downtown Toledo is 10 minutes away with the Mudhens Baseball, Tony Pacos and the Toledo Museum of Arts! Day trips to Cedar Point, Lake Erie Islands (Put in Bay and Kelley's Island) are within an hour.

Summary: In town for a long weekend to celebrate a family wedding - not only was the house darling, it was well equipped, very clean and comfortable & the owners responsive and helpful - highly recommend!!!

Summary: The house is absolutely beautiful. Super nice property manager he helped us with anything we needed. The house is super clean. Yard is gorgeous. We had a dog with us and it was perfect for that. I would stay there again every time I come back in town. Thank you

Summary: This was my first VRBO rental and the experience was positive. The home is comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. My family enjoyed ping pong competitions nightly. We plan to stay again in 2024.

Summary: The house, the owners, the location were all just incredible! I was there with my husband, 2 sons and their wives and we all stayed comfortably in such an open and comfortable home. The owners were in constant contact and we had everything we needed for our three night stay. The ping-pong table was a major plus!! Totally worth the cost - I highly recommend this property if you're in the Toledo area.

Summary: Perfect spot for our multigenerational family. Everything was fresh and clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood with great food close by. Katzmaier for groceries and Ohio specialty foods. Swigs was great option for lunch with comfortable, shaded outside patio.

Summary: This home was clean and light-filled and adorably decorated, with extra attention to little details - closet sachets, nice soaps, "flowers" in the toilet paper centers, night lights, and optional fans in every closet. Hostess Amy was a delight to work with, making recommendations for caterers and a party venue site to celebrate our son's college graduation from BGSU and his Air Force Commissioning. We rented the nearby Lamb Center at Side Cut MetroPark and used Michael's Catering of Toledo. Traveling from NY, I also planned ahead and did a Walmart delivery of food to arrive an hour after our arrival. I included food for our stay at the house, as well as all necessities for the party. The nice clean garage offered me plenty of staging to sort items for 2 individual parties and store nonperishables. Couldn't have been happier. The house included plenty of space for us to join together or get away from one another. Three bedrooms on first floor were perfect for elderly grandparents and an uncle. Upstairs was perfect for teens. I'd recommend this home in a heartbeat. Two extremely minor suggestions to consider: add some snuggly blankets for the couch (we were there on a rainy weekend), and maybe a full-length mirror in the Master bedroom at least. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING (including the extra big pots you dropped off for me for my party cooking). SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

Summary: I believe people are put in our lives for a reason! Amy & Kerry are amazing hosts. We traveled a great distance so my husband could receive a kidney transplant and we felt like we were home! Amy also helped us find our next resting spot. It feels like we have made friends for life. I would highly recommend staying here and we look forward to our next visit!
