Positive: From the moment we arrived we felt we were in heaven. We received a warm and helpful welcome from Heather and Adam. The house and it’s location are beautiful. The garden is gorgeous and is home to Adam’s bees, which provide yummy honey for breakfast, the hens Barbara and Margot gave us delicious eggs and the vegetable garden provided sweet tomatoes which Heather cooked to perfection. Homemade jams were delicious on our toast. The linen is high quality and everything at Riverbank House exceeds expectations. Do yourself a favour and stay more than one night.

Positive: Adam and Heather our hosts are a wonderful couple. Heather went out of her way to provide us with lots of helpful advice on where to go and what to see. The house is full of charm and history and the gardens and grounds are very beautiful. A red Robin lives in their garden, that you can hand feed .

Positive: A completely relaxing stay in the most beautiful house next to the River Bandon. Heather and Adam were the friendliest of hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Delicious breakfasts taken in the lovely room overlooking the river was so peaceful. Their garden is a delight too!

Positive: The nights at Riverbank House were some of the best we had spent on our holiday in Ireland. Even before we arrived, the hostess Heather was very friendly and helpful. We had indicated that we were vegan and this was very well catered for. The really great breakfast with lots of home-made ingredients was outstanding and was one of the best vegan breakfasts we had had in Ireland. From the homemade jams and marmalades to the freshly baked bread and the exquisite selection of teas, everything was just right. Both the house and the garden are gorgeous. Adam, the host, showed us around his vegetable garden and both he and Heather gave us great tips for excursions and restaurants every day. Heather even planned a great road trip for us to our next destination. We will definitely stay at Riverbank House again. Thank you very much for the grand days!
