Summary: Very cozy little mountain house, with a nice oven for heating, fully equipped kitchen, garden and a great jacuzzi with amazing views of the stars at night. Everything was clean and tidy. The location is super quiet and small hikes are starting from around the house. Overall a great place to stay

Summary: I've never stayed anywhere like this. The views were amazing, location obviously high and a windy single track road but that's half the fun. The house was perfect, the house is in the country, you're going to get spiders and insects but that was part of the attraction. The house is built with love, so many quirky details and all so idyllic and QUIET! Do a shop before you drive up there as you might not want to leave! Thank you Michel, loved your place.

Summary: The accomadation is up high, so the view is spectacular....watching the mist rise up from the valleys below and the tops of the mountains peeking through is a beautiful memory. The property and friendly owner are unique. There was everything you required for your stay provided for. The kitchen though small was well equipt. We stayed out of high season and places open to eat were few and far between, the kitchen was an essential. Would recommend this unique place to anyone.

Summary: Very nice view from the spa, and overall very positive experience. The communication with the owners was great. We had some delays on check-in day and they accomodated us very well. The only thing that would maybe need improvement is the cleanliness of the house - we found some dead bugs, spider webs, old soaps, etc. The bed sheets and the rest of the amenities were clean though, nothing extremely bad.

Summary: If you want somewhere that is a bit quirky with views to die for then this is for you. Michel the host is a super friendly and helpful guy. Would recommend this lovely place for a few days

Summary: Beautiful setting! Really interesting and unique metal work and design. No IKEA crap. Hot tub with amazing Mountain View’s. Well equipped kitchen. Clean and quiet. Great for VTT and hiking from front door.

Summary: Up a long winding hillside road you will find Gite De la croix, a rustic mountain side residence, with fantastic panoramic views across the Nert valley. Facilities in the Gite are fine and in match of the surroundings, a nice log burner is ample to keep the Gite warm and cosy, with ample wood supplied by owners Michel and Lisa, a welcoming couple who are nearby for any help needed. A good way to view the scenery is from the Hot Tub, which is warm and inviting after a day out visiting local towns and countryside. St Girons has all your local shops for all your needs. St lizier and Foix are a must to see and take a walk around old towns. Or take a drive and enjoy the mountain scenery where ever you go. A very enjoyable stay was had, would recommend to those who like to be away from the hustle and bustle of things.
