Summary: We stayed one evening at the home, my daughter, husband and I. The house was not in a great shape from the outside. Large amounts of chipping paint and nesting birds causing a badly muck stained window (nothing like in the advertising picture). Once inside, the house is in better shape and overall cleanliness inside was good, there is some nice decor too. However, outside the patio chairs and tables are in need of cleaning or changing and there were two large bags of rubbish. I did complain about the issues to management and they apologised for the paint stating they had a problem with the mortar, they also suggested the rubbish was recycling that is only moved once a week. But smelling other peoples rubbish in open over flowing bags is not acceptable. There is a more hygienic way to recycle waste. We couldn’t use the outside area at all. And with all the rain we had the bags were leaking. As for the area, the house is on an estate, with no dining close by, the next major town has food places to choose from. There is a great bike path just across the road that runs along a beautiful river. For those wanting a base for cycling I can see this place being a good idea. I just wish it had been given a more detailed look over as regards to rubbish before we arrived. Maybe if we had stayed longer the problem could have been sorted.

Summary: Great location for cycling, walking, and listening to running water. Explore the nearby valley or head to the beach, but make sure the fridge is full as not much around for evening entertainment.

Summary: We booked this as we wanted to try out some mountain biking as a family with three teenagers. The property is great, the TV projector and table football was great! There are two info centers for the bike trails and this property is located at the more advanced rides so it's its a ride down the valley (about 30 mins or so) on the old railway line to reach the other centre with blue and green runs. We did the blue runs first and then on the next day successfully did the local red runs but please don't underestimate the red runs - it's not easy! We also booked a gorge walking adventure with Hawk Adventures which was brilliant fun. It takes about 75 mins to drive to the beaches such as Rhossili (stunning beach). Property is really well done - there is nothing to do in the village though so take your Amazon firestick and play lots of table football! Different family holiday for us but we all really enjoyed doing something new. It's certainly a beautiful area.

Summary: House itself is is perfect, fully equipped to everything we needed. Decore is brilliant and looking over the river at the back was really nice in the evening. We went to Afan Park close by which is a great adventure! Our only disappointment was the local area itself be prepared to drive or be organised before hand in getting groceries in. Not enough to deter us, will definitely be back again!
