Summary: St Albains is ideal for a peaceful getaway, host was very responsive and helpful. Kitchen could be improved a bit to be as great as the house itself. Definitely I’ll come back

Summary: We loved the cottage - the location just off St Albans was great. Near water, lovely amenities, things to do for kids. Would welcome a microwave, a dishwasher and a safety gate on the porch for little ones, but these are just ideas for improvement. Otherwise lovely stay, would definitely come back!:)

Summary: Exactly what we were wanting, a weekend in a country setting, with beautiful scenery and a creek for the kids to splash in. The house had everything we needed, we brought some food with us and enjoyed the nearby pub.

Summary: The house was as described, nice quiet location. No TV or mobile reception allows you to relax. Slow compustion fire with plenty of wood to keep us warm. Nice comfortable beds. Great place to reconnect with friends.

Summary: We had a lovely time and it was a nice retreat but unfortunately the wi-fi didn’t work and it was connected to the TV so the TV didn’t work. We also didn’t have any mobile phone reception so there was no way to communicate with our friends from the wedding party. The owner said that the whole neighbourhood had wi-fi problems. Maybe it was just a short term issue, best to check with the host before staying.

Summary: Beautiful, relaxing family spot for a great weekend away. House so tidy , warm & comfortable. Had thought of everything we could need. Especially loved the soft doonas & gorgeous decor - local photos, interesting art work & lots of chairs & soft throws for curling up & reading. Hope to be back again in future
