Positive: Lovely old style room with balcony.

Negative: Very noisy as it was a public holiday but the worst thing was the guy using a blower outside our room at 6.45am

Positive: Friendly chilled staff. We stayed in Sophia’s Grand Bedroom which was very comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was only shared with one other room so wasn’t an issue. Great bistro in the pub too. Didn’t see or experience any of the ghosts (this time ;-))

Negative: The room was over the bar and has the smoking area outside so we needed some earplugs, but the pub closes at 10pm so wasn’t too bad. Still had a good sleep.

Positive: Choice of seating areas to eat/ drink. Ate in pub twice and both meals delicious and good value. Great outdoor area. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially the lady on the bar.
