Positive: The place was super clean and the staff was extremely friendly
Negative: The location is not super central but it’s not like they are hiding the location. If you know Victoria and you can read a map, you’ll know you aren’t staying right downtown. It was a 9 minute drive to the harbour front.
Summary: This is an classic style motel that has been updated with super friendly staff, very clean rooms and affordable rates

Negative: First of all: The stay is incredibly overpriced! For a simple Motel we wouldn‘t mind the stale smell in the room, the old furniture, the loud AC, the thin walls and especially the very simple (to be kind) breakfast. But for the current pricing it‘s just ridiculous. Could‘ve been a 8 out of 10 if the price was matching the conditions.

Positive: Bed was clean and comfortbale. Very clean and smart bathroom, clearly recently upgraded, great shower. We took advantage of the complimentary kayaking, which was really good and we all really enjoyed. I had noted that when searching for somewhere to stay and the ebikes and kayaking stood out as another good reason to book. Highly recommend making use of them. Location is quiet but about a 20 min drive into Victoria. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good - no frills, hot drinks, juice, cereals, toast and croissant available in communal space, the Great Room.
Negative: Weather was really hot and really needed the AC unit but it was quite noisy so had to turn it off which meant the room got rather hot during the night. Not a deal breaker but there was only only one light source in the room, a floor lamp at the back of the room, some other lamps or lighting would have been useful.
Summary: Comfortable and peaceful 2 night stay
