Our beautiful 1927 Rock Stream Estate takes guests back to a time when there were great country houses to host and convene in, a time when being with family and friends was a part of everyday life.
Rock Stream Estate is situated on five private, peaceful, park-like acres. It boasts of 9 elegantly appointed bedrooms with 8 bathrooms, and we can sleep 24 people. The fully-stocked kitchen, with grand views of the valley, has plenty of counter space, an island, two dishwashers, two refrigerators and two stoves with ovens where you may serve up a banquet celebration! The formal dining room can seat up to 28 guests. There is also a formal living room and lovely breakfast nook. There are three fireplaces, a game table as well as abundant areas for gathering and entertaining family and friends!
While Wi-fi is available, we encourage guests to hike, read, and enjoy nature on the property’s 5 acres where you’ll find many kinds of birds, deer and rabbits, as well as a rare glimpse at a coyote.
Enjoy the gorgeous morning sunrise, an afternoon picnic under the gazebo, or a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub all complete with breath-taking country views.

Summary: My stay at rock stream estate was amazing! There were 24 girls staying for a bachelorette party. The house was exactly as pictured, the backyard is gorgeous, and Israel was super friendly and helpful in recommendations before we even arrived. I couldn't recommend this house enough!!

Summary: We rented this property for a family reunion. It easily slept 24. There are not too many properties in this region that can house this many people. Communications with the owner was great. The kitchen is well stocked although some of the cookware is aging. The location is great. Close enough to Watkins Glen and other attractions in the area. There is a huge yard that was a big hit with the kids. There are washing machines and dryers on-site. There is a functioning hot tub but we didn’t use it. It is well water but it’s not bad tasting. My guess is most properties in the area are well water. Overall everyone was happy with their stay.

Summary: If looking to host a large group in the Finger Lakes region, it'd be difficult to beat this charming property. The connected living, dining, and play rooms made for a great gathering area--we hosted dinner for our group of 15 adults each night. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for folks to have their privacy too. The house was clean throughout, and the kitchen came stocked with everything that we needed. Israel was responsive and helpful, even when we faced an issue with the water pressure--he had a crew there immediately to fix it on a weekend. It worked perfectly well afterwards and it should be fixed permanently now. Magnus Ridge Winery was our groups favorite stop of the weekend, and it's only a few minutes away. Highly recommend Rock Stream Estate for your next large gathering in the area!

Summary: The home is located in a rural area in close proximity to Seneca Lake and numerous (15+) wineries/breweries. The house itself is lovely, a throw back to the 1920's (I'm guessing on the age). The size of the kitchen- with double refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, etc. --- made it ideally suited for our Thanksgiving family reunion, and the venue can easily accommodate much larger dinner parties. Our family especially enjoyed the hot tub and playing games around the large dinning table; the venue provided the opportunity to relax, reacquaint, & create new memories- priceless! Another unique- and greatly appreciated--- feature of this property is the number of bedrooms with an associated private FULL bath. I will say that we experienced a few hiccups during our 4 day stay, but our host Israel was very responsive and went above and beyond to address each and every issue in a timely fashion, to my satisfaction.

Summary: This was a perfect location to hold our wedding reception. There is so much space indoors and out. We had a large events tent, two canopies, lawn games, and parking in the rear, and we were still using only a fraction of the space! The field behind the property made a perfect backdrop for photos. There is a also a firepit with plenty of seating which made for a unique and fun end to the evening . The best part was that we were able to stay on the property along with our family and bridal party. We were a big group and were very comfortable here. There was a great balance of rooms with multiple beds to accommodate our young families, and more private rooms for couples. There was plenty of indoor & outdoor common space and seating. The massive dinning table and well equipped kitchen made meals super easy, and most importantly there were so many bathrooms!! We never had any issues with bathrooms during our stay or during our event. Thank you so much Israel for opening your home to us and going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable :)
