Positive: The Rodeway was undergoing rehabilitation. The rooms are to a standard comparable to Choice Suites, etc. The grounds need much improvement. We were on the second floor (of two storiys), the stairway had decayed carpet and was unswept. The corridor leading to our room was the same: not maintained. These were not deal breakers; the room was just fine. The Rodeway is about 6-7 miles from both the Nautilus Submarine museum and the Mystic Seaport museum and thus both are easily accessible. Restaurants nearby include McDonalds, Applebees, and higher scale.
