Summary: Price little high for the condition of the room. Carpet very dirty, etc. Hotel needs to be renovated. Not sure if pool was open. But was green.

Summary: The bathrooms were terrible. Not even soap or towels to wash hands. Pool was brown and not useable. No screen on the window and the parking lot was filthy with trash everywhere.

Summary: The hotel was reasonably priced for a weekend where all other hotels where charging outrageous prices because of local events (which I was not attending). So that in itself was an appreciated! BUT ... Something that's never happened to me at a hotel, EVER... Is that the hotel was out of TOWELS! Yes, you heard that correctly, they were out of towels! Checked into my room after an 8-hour drive wanting a shower looked around the room there were zero towels no bath towels no hand towels no washcloths nothing. Called the front desk they said they'd bring us something in 10 minutes after 30 minutes waiting went down to the front desk asked them for some towels and they said "we are out of towels"... and all they could say was sorry. Unbelievable! After going back and forth with them about when we could possibly get some towels (maybe around 9am the next morning!) my husband asked, you don't even have any washcloths or hand towels? ... And they said they did and gave us some hand towels. They didn't offer him up we had to ask, which was weird. Anyhow my advice would be that maybe someone working there could have gone to Walmart and picked up a couple dozen towels or something when they realized that the booked rooms has no towels. They said they were losing business and couldn't sell all the rooms because they didn't have any towels, it's just strange that a hotel wouldn't have enough towels for every room in the establishment! Other than that the stay was fine.

Summary: I'll start with something positive. The beds are comfortable and I liked the choice of pillows. The rooms are fairly clean. There was dried soap residue in the soap dish attached to the shower, I scraped some off with my nail. That's just to give you an idea that it was far from meticulous. The management is very nice and they offered to change my room when I pointed out some issues. The phone did not work to call the front desk during my last TWO visits. When I complained at the front desk, they sent a repairman up to connect the phone properly. Every time I flushed the toilet, it made a VERY loud high pitched noise. It was too much trouble to pack and change rooms, so I didn't flush often. I think one problem is that the previous people using the rooms don't report these issues, so they are not corrected for the next guest. That's giving the management the benefit of the doubt. This hotel is probably as good as some others with similar ratings, but less expensive because it's on the outskirts of Watsonville.

Summary: the hotelsisa 1-2 star. lower price means lower income travelers. the receptionist did not tell me the password for the wifi or anything else other than checking in. the ice machine on my floor was broken. the icemachine on the other floor worked but smelled like mold. the hallways smelled like marijuana is being smoked in rooms,no smoking signs are in the halways. toliet in my room was realy low and small, i am only 5' 10" 200 pounds and felt like i was on a kids toliet. place is showing its age, needs newer carpets and paint. location is at the eage of town, only store walking distance is a am/pm,starbucks.
