Summary: This was our fifth or sixth stay in the tower. We did not come for a couple of years, so it was thrilling to come back in summer 2023. The tower is just lovely - renovated with an enormous amount of love for the building and all its details. We left the tower to our five kids and stayed in the cabanon, which is a bit more basic, but still a cozy and elegant hide-away. The property is amazing, but even more lovely are the owners: the Lewis family. You cannot imagine more lovely and caretaking hosts. They will make sure that you enjoy the Languedoc, while fully respecting your privacy. The tower and the Lewis family truly are a home away from home.

Summary: We enjoyed a lovely two weeks at The Tower at the end of August. The hosts are delightful people who help to make your visit much more fun with their knowledge of the area and interesting conversation. We travelled to some lovely towns nearby, which have lots of beautiful buildings and art galleries to explore. The beaches are also very nice, with several to choose from and warm sea for swimming. Our highlight was the medieval festival at Aigues Mortes, the children loved dressing in costumes, listening to the musicians and charging around the ramparts. The grounds are nice and peaceful and the pool a real bonus for the little ones. We all loved eating food from the markets late into the night and watching the bats zoom around. Gita the cat is an excellent babysitter, keeping the smalls entertained! It was very hot during our visit, the breeze during the day kept it enjoyable for wandering around, but the grown ups did struggle to sleep in the evenings especially in the cabanon even with the fans. Also come armed with Avon So Soft and Chamomile lotion if mosquitos like you! The nearby village gives an authentic taste of French life and has a couple of nice restaurants, bars and a small playground. Most of our trips took 20 to 30 minutes as the motorway is close by, so not too much travelling to find something to interest everyone. Thoughly recommended!

Summary: My family - myself, partner, and grown-up daughter and son - enjoyed a wonderful week at Le Tour, a unique house in the Petite Camargue. Terry and Francoise live through the trees on the same extensive estate, but the Tour is completely private and peaceful. They were ideal hosts, there for answering any questions we had, but never intrusive. We couldn't thank them enough for providing such a great getaway. The house itself is beautifully renovated and comfortable. Outside there are several secret hideholes to sit and read, undisturbed. Beyond, you have pink flamingoes and other wildlife plus beaches and endless sightseeing if you want it.

Summary: We were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenage children enjoying a relaxing summer vacation in this amazing place. The whole area, Aimargues, the beaches and especially our time on Françoise and Terries premises at the tower, this we did like a lot and enjoyed it very much. The tower and the cabin are well maintained and we had enough space for all of us. Terry and Francoise are two very lovely hosts and they were supporting us with good advices, whenever needed. All in all we can only recommend this place and would like to thank Terry and Francoise for their companionship in these 14 days.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. It was decorated very tastefully, and equipped with everything you might need. The tower was charming and the cabana was very comfortable. The pool was lovely and we loved reading and socialising in the shady areas around the tower. We were a group of 5 teenagers and 4 adults. The area was great for lots of activities and we enjoyed lots of day out. Our host deserve special note as the were the kindest, most helpful hosts I have ever had at a gite! (15th visit to France!) Nothing was too much to ask, and we felt like friends when we left! I definitely hope to be back soon!!!!

Summary: We stayed at "La Tour" in May this year for 2 weeks with our 3 children (7, 5 and 2) and grandparents and it's been a fantastic time. The tower and its garden are absolutely beautiful. The tower is very well equipped, although we've literally lived outside the whole 2 weeks enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The children loved just playing outside, using the pool and also "adopted" one of the cats of Francoise and Terry. The tower is perfectly located for a lot of day trips to discover the South of France. We've been to the beach quite often (20 minutes), but have also visited sights nearby like Aigues Mortes, Le Grau du Roi, Nimes with its beautiful Arena and Le Pont du Gare, went on a fishing trip and enjoyed horse riding. And there is lots more! Francoise and Terry have been lovely hosts helping with day to day questions and providing tips on places to go . Thank you to both of you for making our 2 weeks such a memorable time. We'll definitely be back :-) Achim & Diana with family, Germany

Summary: The tower is set in beautiful grounds with loads of space. Francoise and Terry were wonderful hosts - always ready to help, make suggestions on where to go and share some of their delicious plums with us! We were four adults and two children and used both the tower and cabanon, which offered my in-laws a bolthole of their own. The children loved the tower and having their own room. The property is in 'n good location to get to the beaches at Grau de Roi as well as places like Nimes and the Pont du Gard. The tower would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems or indeed for people with very small children that are not confident with stairs - the stairs are steep and there are lots of them! There is also no bath, which could again be a problem for people with young children who don't want to shower. We arrived just after a bit of rain in the middle of August, so we were plagued by mosquitoes. If you are bothered by these pests you should definitely take lots of insect repellent.
