Summary: The cabin is historic and comfy. Being on the lake and is very nice. It is walkable to the center of Jacksonport. There is no access to the water, as it has been blocked off. Also not having garbage pick up is a bit of an issue. Overall we had a very nice and relaxing stay there.

Summary: Cabin is very clean and nicely furnished. Very comfortable. The location is beautiful - overlooking the lake. Off the beaten path and quiet. Very peaceful. No mosquitos or bugs to speak of while we were there! We loved sitting out by the fire pit and watching the stars come into view at night. Great stay!

Summary: The cottage was definitely very basic but in a perfect location. With windows open, we listened to sound of waves breaking and morning coffee outside was fantastic.

Summary: This adorable, cozy, quiet, quaint cottage was just what we were looking for. We could enjoy our morning coffee outside with a beautiful view of the lake. It’s on the quiet side of the peninsula, but close enough to outdoor activities and plenty of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. ~ Amy

Summary: This was a beautiful little house right on the lake, and I enjoyed the stay very much. The fire pit outside was the highlight, for sure.

Summary: First time using VRBO. I had so many questions. The property owner was great about communicating. Directions and rules were clearly laid out. Property was exactly as stated. We were able to use the shed for bike storage, the property’s grills and charcoal too. Inside was clean and well laid out. What wasn’t provided was listed as such and a checklist was provided to make sure you brought what you would need. The location was perfect to local kayak and bike rentals, public park and beach and a local restaurants. We will specifically seek this property in the future without a doubt.

Summary: The cabin was exactly as listed...quaint, peaceful on a beautiful wooded lot overlooking Lake Michigan. It was a little colder in the mornings but there was ample firewood for a morning fire inside and we had a couple of campfires on the cliff at night. The night sky was incredible above the campfire area. We visited the Dark Sky Park and the surrounding peninsula towns. Fish Creek was a favorite. We also recommend renting the e bikes from the Jacksonport Kayak and Cave place. We took the bikes to Cave Park and the park next to that. Rich the host was very responsive the first night we had questions (read the checklist on the counter it helps with the questions 😂) It wasn't fancy but it was perfect for us!
