Positive: Location could not be better, near to Schull, Mizen and Barley Cove and walking distance to the beautiful Ballyrisode Beach. Very well equipped kitchen. Bedroom and bathroom was spacious and clean. Host was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend.
Negative: No negatives, the host was on site if we had any issues.

Positive: We loved everything about Romantic Hideaway,the peace and quiet was exceptional, and the garden is fabulous, looking out from our apartment window you could imagine you were out foreign in a hot country,hence the perfect name for this Airbnb,and Hanns and Elena were perfect hosts,so friendly and welcoming,the area is wonderful,such scenery and beautiful beaches,loads to see and do,we didn't have enough time to see everything so will certainly be back, Mizzen Head is definitely a must see,but on a clear day for sure and Clonakilty visitors center is also a very interesting visit so informative and there's a viewing area so you can see how everything is made,you might even get a wave or two from the employees enjoying their work., and you get to taste the wonderful Clonakilty products at the end of the tour. We went to Crookhaven where you can find lovely little restaurants all situated together,and I would recommend the fish chowder in the Welcome Inn restaurant the flavor and taste of fresh fish in the soup was unforgettable and the staff were so friendly it makes the experience more enjoyable.
Negative: The only thing I can say is we found Romantic Hideaway very hard to get to,the address is Ballyrisode,on the wall at the entrance is Rosewoods on a metal sign,and has a big ball light on the right of the entrance, not complaining just trying to make it easier to find if you find yourselves in our position,we rang Hanns and it turned out we were just across the road from the property at that stage,but it wasn't all in vain as we got to see beautiful beaches and little villages on our search,and the nearest village is Goleen about 5 minute drive away,overall we really enjoyed everything about Romantic Hideaway and the area.

Positive: In a beautiful position with lovely, very unusual, gardens. Property is perfect for a couple and it's fully equipped. Hanns, the owner, is an absolute gentleman and is prepared to help you in any ways he can.

Positive: The property was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and warm. The host was very friendly and welcoming. It was beautifully decorated and it was really nice to be able to avail of a fully stocked and interesting bookcase. This was a lovely place to stay with lovely grounds and a lovely feeling of being away in the middle of nowhere. There was also easy access to the beach and it was close to Goleen, Crookhaven, the Mizen and Schull.
Negative: I couldn't get the WIFI to work but must admit that I didn't contact the host about this while I was at the property and should have. The cooking facilities were good and the combined microwave/electric oven was very easy to use. The induction hob wasn't working very well however.
