3 Bedroom Cabin in Ferguson

This delightful mountain retreat, located on 19.3 acres in Leatherwood Mountains (a gated equestrian development-zip code is Ferguson, but is actually about 10 miles away), is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or a special family gathering. Our home is very spacious and beautifully decorated with Bob Timberlake and Charleston Forge furniture mixed with antiques and oriental rugs. Every room has a view of Grandfather mountain and the view is a 180' view of the Blue Ridge mountains.
Each of the three bedrooms has its own private bath (two of the baths have jetted tubs-the master bath has a separate shower, also). Two of the bedrooms (including the King Master suite and a Queen-size bedroom) and the loft with a Queen-size sofa bed are on the second floor. The Master suite even has a gas fireplace. There is a third bedroom on the first floor with a Queen-size bed.
The Great room has a 24-foot Tennessee field stone wood-burning fireplace and triple windows and doors to take advantage of the view. The dining room has seating for 8 and a bar with seating for 4. The kitchen with beautiful granite countertops is equipped for the gourmet cook with double ovens, a gas cook-top, a side by side refrigerator with ice and water dispensers, Kitchen Aid stand mixer, coffee grinder, and many other amenities too numerous to mention. Outside there is a screened porch with a country swing and a dining table with seating for four and a 12X48 deck with a 20X20 step-down deck with a six-person Jacuzzi overlooking the mountains.

Summary: If you're looking for a spot that provides a get away for Rest & Relaxation, this house will check all the boxes. Very clean, well appointed kitchen, fireplace with firewood, comfy beds, beautiful views and a wonderful hot tub -- this is it! Meda has a fabulous home and we are thankful she's willing to share -- we will be returning!

Summary: We rented this home for a post-Christmas family getaway and it was the perfect place to relax after the holidays! The location is secluded and peaceful, but being in Leatherwood and near Boone makes it easy to get go grab food or find a fun activity. The house itself is lovely and well cared for by the owners. The kitchen is well-stocked and all of the furniture is clean and comfortable. Of course, the views were spectacular and since we were there near Christmas, we go to see the spectacular Christmas tree the owners had put up. Last, but not least, the owners a friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with.In short, this is a great vacation rental for a secluded mountain getaway. We highly recommend it and plan on returning in the futures

Summary: This property is exactly as advertised and better! We enjoyed are escaped into the mountains and loved sitting on the deck watching the sunset and enjoying coffee in the mornings. Meda was very responsive to any questions we had and a fabulous host. We will definitely be back!

Summary: Our group highly recommends this lovely home! It was spotless and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. The furnishings were of high quality, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every room had its own unique charm. Excellent communication from the owner, Meda, with very clear and easy check in and check out information. We hope to stay again!

Summary: Lovely private home! Great views of surrounding mountains from the back deck and hot tub. We specifically looked for a dog friendly home for our family getaway and this was perfect. The back deck is enclosed so our pups could have space to run. Great communication with the owners for any questions. This property is well maintained with many extras not often found in a rental.

Summary: This property was nothing short of amazing. It had everything we needed, and the view was very majestic. Watching the sunset behind the mountain was breathtaking. We needed this getaway and the view along with the sunset encouraged me to propose to my now fiancé. It was everything that the owner said it would be and more. The communication was great and couldn't ask for more. We will be back!!!
