Fredericksburg is widely regarded as one of the top ten winery destinations in the world, and there is no better point for exploring all of them than while staying at the cottages of Der Fels!
The Alexander is a suite in the heart of wine country and is close to the famous Wildseed Farms, and wineries such as Messina Hof, Mendelbaum, and Grape Creek. It’s even close to Luckenbach!
This limestone cottage with all the comforts of home, is a charming suite and offers everything today's traveler wants, in a private setting. Enjoy the private hot tub to yourselves in a fully fenced courtyard. Or, step back inside to enjoy the large whirlpool tub or rain-head shower in the bath! Additionally, the Alexander Suite is outfitted with a king-size bed dressed in beautiful linens, and a spacious sitting area to set the mood!
