Summary: I spent two happy months in this light, airy apartment overlooking the river and Tiber Island. As a single woman I wanted a place where I could come and go at night and feel safe, and this fit the bill. The location couldn’t have been better for my purpose, which was to see as much of Rome as I could by foot, and what I couldn’t reach by foot was easily gotten to by bus (there are several hubs within a 5 minute walk). Francesco, who lives in the building, is helpful and attentive, yet gave me complete privacy. My only caveat is that the 4 lane Lungotevere is directly under the windows facing the river, and there is heavy traffic all day and late into the night.

Summary: Apt was everything as advertised and more. Owners were wonderful to deal with , apt was spacious and very clean upon arrival. Location is perfect for getting anywhere in the city.

Summary: "The apartment was absolutely perfect. You feel really at home -- the flat is so spacious, calm, light, clean & convenient, there is everything you need in the kitchen (even some tasty food as you come tired & hungry) and everywhere, it''s such a pleasure to look out of the windows, that sometimes I thought I''d rather stay "at home" though of course it''s marvellous to walk around Rome. The location couldn''t be better: it''s just a part of "the ancient Rome", near the Capitol, Palatin, Forum etc. & very close to "the baroque Rome" with it''s unending feast at Navona square or Campo di Fiori. It''s the best location to feel the atmosphere of different parts of the city, I think. The host is above all praise: very nice, intelligent, helpful & easy to reach ) & we were surprised & glad to find many good books on the shelves about Rome & not only about Rome.. It''s a pity there is no variant 5+ in overall mark. Absolutely recommended."
