Summary: We had a wonderful stay here, clean apartment with comfy beds and everything you could poss it want in the kitchen. Bonus supermarket downstairs of the building! Location is very close to the metro and only a few stops into the more touristy areas. Paolo was responsive and helpful and his tips on local places to eat were excellent.

Summary: Tidy, compact and elegant apartment a stones throw from the Metro which gets you in the central area in less than 7 minutes. The apartment had everything needed to feel you are living the Roman life for a few days. Paolo is an excellent host always accessible and friendly. Would recommend!

Summary: Our host, Paolo, and the property were more than we expected and - frankly - harkened back to the original promise of VRBO. The property had every amenity one might think of - and we were especially impressed by the fully functional kitchen. From aprons to pasta strainers, from juicers to table cloths... Right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, a short walk to the Metro, a few meters from both a local market and small grocery store. Perfect. Will stay here again because it allowed us to access the city when we wanted to and stay home to relax and cook when we wanted to. It enabled us to "vacation" vice "sightsee."

Summary: This bright, ground-floor apartment is extremely clean and well equipped, and worked well for two couples staying together. Beds are very comfortable, linens are crisp and white, and both bedrooms have access to a small balcony overlooking the back alley where you can dry laundry. There is no dining room: the eat-in kitchen, though small, is equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking. There is a large patio with a gazebo and table and chairs; we weren't able to make use of it because the patio was under renovation and the weather was damp, but on a nice day it would be lovely to take meals out there (though the patio is not particularly private, you could close the curtains on the gazebo for privacy). The apartment is in a very non-touristy part of Rome, and there's a grocery store right around the corner. The Basilica San Paolo metro is only a five-minute walk away, making it extremely handy for getting to the centre of Rome quickly. The neighbourhood feels very safe, but people not used to Rome might be taken aback at the amount of litter, garbage and graffiti in the area. This is not unusual for residential areas in Rome in our experience, but it can be unsettling. Paolo gave us some great restaurant recommendations for local eateries as well as some further afield.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying for 1 week in Emmanuela and Paolo's appartment in Roma: it was as described, very clean and enough space for 4 people. The kitchen is superbly equipped and all material of very good quality! Locations is extremely good as well: 30 min from the airport and approx 5 min walking to the main metro station - in total 15-20 tavel time to the main attractions such as Colloseum or Forum Romanum. Paolo is a great host, he was even picking us up from the airport and invited us for espresso/ice cream to "warm up". All in all a great experience and we will for sure return once we travel back to Rome. Thanks!!
