Summary: Absolutely amazing find! Awesome apartment tucked in a very pleasant part of Austria just one hour from Vienna. The place was cosy, so well equipped, generous and welcoming hosts and superb breakfast. There was also ample and easy parking and an amazing restaurant nearby with fabulous local food. On our four week road trip this was an exceptional experience. Wished we could have stayed longer just to relax and enjoy it more.

Summary: These apartment houses (more than one building, but they are next to each other) are in a beautiful area, and well kept. The owners live in one of the houses (which also serves as Reception and where they serve breakfast). The 6 apartments they have are nicely decorated, have style and are well equipped. We usually prefer larger hotels because of the privacy and (weird as it may sound) for the fact that no one "bothers you" in a big hotel, i.e. no one cares what you do. Well, this place was a very welcome departure from that with caring owners who paid attention, talked to us, asked if we were all right, needed anything, but they left as alone to have our space and privacy otherwise. In the morning they made us a fabulous hot breakfast (literally anything we could ask for - it was over the top compared to the usual fare you get in a hotel), on our schedule too (no "breakfast is from 7 to 9:30" here). The owners are very nice, also health and environment friendly, evidenced by the quality food, solar panels everywhere, etc. The wife is a very talented artist so there are beautiful paintings all over the place. We had problems with the internet in the room and they were very helpful. The overall experience was exactly what we looked for and needed on this trip with my girlfriend - friendly, romantic, the exact opposite of the impersonal "large hotel" feeling. If you are looking for a nice, romantic, small town experience in a truly beautiful area, you will love this place.
