Positive: It’s very handy to the station. The room was large and airy. It was a good price, with a comfortable bed and clean towels. Being across from the railway station and being a pub you’d expect more noise but it was quiet in my room on the side of the building. It has car parking at the rear.
Negative: There was no aircon so that was disappointing during a heat wave but there was an excellent ceiling fan and window. The taps in the shower and basin dripped and there was mould on the bottom of the shower curtain. The dripping taps didn’t annoy me as the bathroom door screened it out. Other amenities such as a hair dryer and iron were not to be had, even communally.

Positive: -Easy check in at the bar and easy check out by placing the key in the box when leaving -friendly and helpful staff -clean room and bathroom with a tv, kettle, coffee, tea, milk, blankets, heater and fan and a view of the train station -private access to rooms without walking through pub -nice pub downstairs with bistro, tab, keno, pool table and great variety of beers -walking distance to public transport, shops, restaurants and bush walks -would recommend for a weekend away
