Positive: Room was clean, comfortable and large with excellent air conditioning - and generally very quiet (aside from when cleaners were in the corridor!). Bed and bedding was very comfy. Shower was clean and roomy with plentiful, hot water. Breakfast was a Chinese Buffet and tasty European options (bacon and eggs etc). The buffet enabled efficient and generous access to breakfast with no need to wait on staff. The coffee was Nescafe Original. Reception area was pleasant. Dining room and hallways were spic-and-span vast areas of marble-effect-tiled floors. Adjacent to reception was a very satisfactory bar for a cold beer or brandy and soda!
Negative: Reception staff were courteous but language barrier (Chinese) made it unclear as to whether there was a full understanding e.g. taxi in 5 minutes meant 35 minutes. Noisy gangs of Venezuelan cleaning staff working along the tiled corridors occasionally disturbing the peace in my bedroom (on two occasions in the week this was at around 6.30am). Bedroom window into central atrium was grubby. Bathroom had a picture window into the bedroom which was weird but not a problem. The desk in the room was more like a shelf; only about 45 cm deep - but long and useable. The drain in the shower gurgled and did not run freely (not terrible but noticeable). The bar next to reception did not open until 2pm; I would have preferred say midday. The bar staff watched sport on TV or played music without full and proper consideration for the guests; again not awful - just not world class!
Summary: 100% Chinese hotel; business comfort, economical; convenient. Would stay again.

Positive: The hotel was new and the accommodations and staff were good. It was quiet, clean and the room setup was OK. The staff was pleasant and very responsive. The daily breakfast was good ( although I expected a little more local menu items )
Negative: The hotel is advertised as having a Mall. The Mall is not yet opened and no target date was given. There is a casino on site but it is limited to machine games. Newspapers available in the lobby were weeks old. One of the rooms assigned has no windows or outside light. There were no travel brochures or concierge services available, but the local (Guyana) staff who are the English speakers, was quite helpful to provide information on local taxi trips and fares. No phones in room, so expect visitors or servicers to contact you by What's App as is the case with the hotel front desk. Plan on a check out inspection on departure.
Summary: The hotel accommodations were good. The hotel opened Feb 2025, so I expect amenities to improve.
