Rubies on the River is the perfect family getaway. Located on the beautiful False River you have the opportunity to enjoy all that the area has to offer, from boating, fishing, great restaurants to local shopping.
Wanting to just relax? We have both a covered patio or a sun deck with a pier on the water.
The upstairs of the home has a full kitchen, living area, two bedrooms and one full bathroom. There is also a full size washer and dryer.
The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed with a lush mattress. The sunroom has two queen size beds with an amazing view of the river.
The home sleeps 6 comfortably.
The downstairs has a second full kitchen, a large living area and a half bath. Great for entertaining.
Both kitchens are fully stocked and we offer both a Kurig and a regular coffee pot.
In the living area of each story there is a large smart TV. There is also wireless internet throughout the home.
The best part of the home is the outside area. We have a large covered patio with a great yard for the kids. There is ample seating on both the patio and the sun deck.
Wanting to enjoy the river, no problem. We have a large pier, great for docking a boat or fishing with your family.
We have a no contact arrival. Simply enter the provided code to gain access.
From September 2021 through mid January 2022 the parish is doing a drawdown of the river, water levels are lower than normal. Refunds will not be provided due to the water level. Please check with local boat launches for current access availability.

Summary: Everything we needed was provided beds were comfortable everything was clean we loved sitting in the sunroom chairs overlooking the river on a daily basis. The boat dock was great for our jet ski and party barge. Rubies we will be back

Summary: Our family of 4 stayed here very comfortably. The 2 boys thought the staircase was awesome. I didn’t realize there was a kitchen both upstairs and down, which was cool. Really great shower. (High on my list for a fishing trip!) we brought our little pontoon boat and it was very easy to put in up the road and dock for the 4 days we were there. The upper level parking spot was a definite plus considering the steep incline of the driveways in this area, and the spiral staircase. Would stay here again. Oh! And we caught fish ;)

Summary: Hi this place is nice for younger adults and families during the warmer months but be cautious during the winter months. The room with the 2 beds is an addition and does not have central heat or air. There was a space heater provided however it could not be left on over night due to the cord getting super hot. Also if you are traveling with someone with mobility issues the downstairs part of the house is not accessible. The only access is a winding stair case or the steep driveway. Either option was not good for my Mother who can not walk well due to balance issues. Overall it was very clean and would be a lot of fun it it would have been warm outside.

Summary: We had a great time. We'll certainly be heading back. Location is great, just a quick ride to Two Roads. Right on the water. Plenty of fun places to hang out on the property from the water-facing front yard to the dock. Keith was very easy to work with.

Summary: When a property just up the road cancelled our reservation with 25 hours notice, we were able to book Rubies on the River and save the 3-day weekend. boys were ecstatic. my ONLY caution to families with small children is that there's a somewhat precarious spiral staircase connecting the upstairs/downstairs with some unprotected space along the railing that could make for a very bad fall. otherwise, fantastic accommodations.
