You are in the middle of the Drentse countryside, a good starting point for long walks or to enjoy the peace and quiet on the terrace. The flat is built against the house of the very friendly owners, so you stay on the same property as the owner, each with their own entrance. There is a large, natural garden, with a stork post

Enjoy the beautiful natural areas Drenthe has to offer. Four kilometres south of the village is the Takkenhoogte, a beautiful heathland area on the northern flank of the Reest valley. A marked walking route of 4.5 kilometres runs through the area of the Takkenhoogte and the Meeuwenveen. The gardens of Mien Ruys are within cycling distance, as are the Priona gardens and those of the Lazy Gardener. Need something different for a day?
