2 Bedroom Cottage in Honiton, Stockland

We converted Golden Square Cottage from an old dairy. The cottage was designed to make the most of the amazing views from our hill top position. The view from the bedrooms and the large private deck are really special.
The cottage is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage is in a great location for walking and exploring the Blackdown Hills and the Jurassic Coast is within easy reach for great days on the seafront.
Finished to a high standard, with every detail carefully thought out. We've tried to be as environmentally friendly as possible, installing solar panels to provide hot water, using responsibly sourced wood for the windows and doors made by a local craftsman, and using eco friendly paints and finishings wherever possible. As even rural areas are moving with the times we now have a Fibre Broadband connection at the cottage.

Summary: Property was really great. Location is far enough away to be peaceful, but still only a short drive to beaches,Great log burner to keep you warm, easy parking and easy to get to most places.Greendales, otter valley cafe, miller's farm shop.

Summary: Truly amazing stay. The house was just perfect for me and my pup. Very cosy, warm and spotless! Lovely views. The owners really helpful and discrete. Loved seeing the goats every morning 🐐. I would definitely stay there again! 💞

Summary: A very comfortable cottage with everything you need. Lovely fresh eggs on arrival, two bathrooms and large fluffy towels made our stay extra special. A quiet area and waking up to amazing views and sunrises added to the charm. Our dogs loved the orchard which was a secure area for them. We enjoyed the wonderful countryside and the cottage was well situated for the coast too.

Summary: Set in idyllic surroundings the house was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was great and central to many villages, towns and lovely walks. It was fully equiped with everything you need. Rob and Kath were extremely welcoming and on hand for any advice or questions. Great place for a family who love adventure and being able to bring our dog with us made it even more special. Simba, our dog, especially loved his early morning play dates with Noah and Barney. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Summary: The cottage is really nice and cosy, feels like home. Stunning view over the hills and village, looks like a Christmas card scene with light fog and smoke from a nearby house. Brilliant log fire. The hosts were really friendly. Perfect experience.
