Summary: Such a beautiful area, peaceful & surrounded by nature.Clean house, easy to get to ( you need a car), good communication with Jose, 15-19 mins to Antequera. The pool is perfect for summer time. Just book it, you will enjoy it.

Summary: If you're looking for relaxed peaceful acomodation look no further, this is the best you can ask for. The house has everything you need for peaceful holiday. View from the property grounds are just magnificient. We stayed there for a week in Feb, and will return soon again. Thank you very much to Jose Antonio and his parents for allowing us to stay in this beautifull villa.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay at La Joya. Despite the flooding of only a few days before, the property was in an excellent condition and the access roads were fine. Jose and his family were very helpful with the few minor problems that we had and they sorted them immediately. We would definitely look to stay there again if we are coming to the area. Excellent value for money

Summary: We loved the villa, the pool, the area and the hosts. The villa is full of character and very well furnished, not the usual ‘cast-offs’ we usually get in properties in this area and price range. The pool was a great size and depth and bug free thanks to the ever active pool bot. Great seating areas inside and outside of the sun and air conditioning in the main lounge area too. Kitchen was well equipped and our hosts said we could help ourselves to the vegetables in the garden. Jose and his family were very kind, helpful and yet discrete. We will be back - if only to idle away another week relaxing in the hammock, watching the eagles fly above our heads and the sun set over the mountains. And one last note - very few wasps!!!

Summary: Firstly we will be back. Lovely peaceful location in the mountains (the local lambs are herded around the property each evening - their bells and the bird song is the loadest thing to hear) The house has a quirky layout, spacious inside and outside. Our only difficulty was we can only speak English and a little Spanish would have helped but with a WhatsApp translator, and friendly locals we got by. A sign to the house from the road would be useful - for future renters look for a narrow concrete track off the road (there is a signpost for a restaurant further up the main road at the turning) and drive a Km up the mountain road. Overall a real treat to stay here.
