Summary: The view from your deck is stunning. During our stay we were lucky enough to see a bear with her cub on the property with another opportunity to see the same mother and cub further down the road. There are quite a few hikes from the property with a lovely lake to visit all within walking distance. The accommodation was very clean with coffee and tea for your use. Emma had made bread and left some local jam for us to try. This all made for a welcoming feel.

Summary: My partner and I stayed at Emma and Mark's beautiful retreat last summer and loved it so much that we returned this year! The place has everything we needed, is spacious and comfortable, and let's face it - the view is the draw! We weren't in a rush to leave to do outings and were perfectly happy to sit on the deck or the picnic table to sip wine and savour the pristine surroundings, listening to all the sounds of nature. It is such a relaxing place - very special - and Emma and Mark are such gracious, friendly hosts who are always looking for ways to make their guests as comfortable as possible! We look forward to returning again and again! Thanks so much to Emma and Mark!

Summary: My partner and I really enjoyed staying here. The place is very clean and comfortable. We slept well (unusual for us when we travel so that was a bonus). We did some star-gazing/astral photography - the balcony faces northeast so while the skies aren't completely dark, you can't see the lights from Langford/Victoria. The daytime views are also gorgeous. There's lots of privacy. You can see/hear the highway when you're outside but it's very quiet inside. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We stayed 8 nights at Emma and Mark's suite, and were sad to leave! Let's start with the obvious - the views are out of this world! When we first arrived, we sat on the deck for 4 hours! It was entertaining to sit on the deck or at the picnic table and watch all the birds of prey circling overhead, along with the occasional deer feeding close-by and squirrel hunting for pine cones! The suite is very well-equipped, super clean, and so nice and new! It's a great location for quick drives (30-40 minutes - or less) to great attractions, like the Malahat Chalet for lunch or dinner, Malahat Skywalk, Royal Road University (gardens), Goldstream Park, the Gorge Waterway, Chemainus, and others. Emma and Mark were very welcoming and accommodating - even loaning my partner tools to do an unexpected car repair. I highly recommend this place and we would return in a heartbeat!

Summary: What a wonderful retreat with the most amazing view! I am already missing waking up to see the spectacular sunrise and birds in flight each day. The Eagles View Guest house is a great guest home, which was very clean and perfect for our family of four. Emma is very quick on communication for booking and on any help we may have needed… it was very easy to check in and have access to our stay. She had a lovely loaf of bread freshly baked for us upon our arrival, which was a lovely surprise. We would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you Emma and Marc for the lovely guest home you provide here. It was the perfect home to come to on our vacation.
