Summary: We had a lovely holiday at this charming house in Meixedo. Surrounded by nature, a magnificent swimming pool and enough space for the whole family. We had a warm welcome by our host José.

Summary: The wonderful house with very large and beautiful garden included all we needed. All bed rooms are vary spacious as are the entrance, kitchen and living. The large pool (depth up to 2,0m) is surrounded a sunny lawn with lounge chairs. We had all our meals on the veranda. The house in conveniently (by car) located to bakery, supermarket, nice cities, beach and other activities.

Summary: This house and the property is such impressive and you need more than seven days to discover the all corners. There is so much space und the hosts have much love for the garden and their plants. This place is a paradies for dogs, because the hole space has fences and gigantic area. The pictures cant represent this beautyful spot. The homeowners are very friendly and we felt very welcome. The surrounding is calm, there is a lot to discover and in a few minutes you reach the beach by car. We would definitely visit this place again.

Summary: Great place for a familly stay. Fully equiped house with 4 bedrooms. Huge kitchen. Only thing really missing are antimosquito nets in the windows. Wonderful a very big garden with the lemon trees and the pool. 25 minutes to very nice beaches - our favorite was Arda beach - great for surfing, with guarded beach and not crowded.

Summary: We (3 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 small dog) stayed in this house end of July 2018 and really enjoyed our time. The house has three bed rooms in the upper floor and one bed room in the lower floor, and one bath room on each level. The whole lot with the house is pretty spacious and you don't see or hear much your neighbors. We put the dining table outside near the pool in order to enjoy the great view onto the valley when dining outside, which was superb. The pool was great and clean and had the right temperature to cool down during summer. The kitchen is offering everything you need in terms of utilities, plates, glasses, etc., so that is great. The village itself does not have a store where you can shop groceries or so. This means you have to use your car in order to go to the next supermarket. We always went to the "Continente" supermarket in Viana do Castelo, which is like 10km away but quick to reach on the highway. It is like a 30-minute drive to Braga and a 45-minute drive to Porto. Beaches are also 20-30 minutes away by car. We really enjoyed our time here and would come again.

Summary: This is a great house with great potential, because it is big enough for a family or larger group of friends, and the location is perfect for exploring the region. It’s in the middle of nature, quiet and at the same time just minutes away from roads that will connect you to where you want to go in this beautiful part of Portugal It is build in a beautiful, classic Portuguese style, with a big garden and multiple fireplaces for BBQ. There is a big kitchen and a big clean pool with a beautiful view. Plenty and beautiful bathrooms . This house could really be fantastic if the beds were replaced for newer and more comfortable ones. All the beds are old and squeaking, they made a lot of noise with the slightest movement. If you want guests from the northern european countries, please take into account that they are taller people and used to wider beds (1.60/1.80m). There were permanently a lot of mosquitos, mainly in the upstair bedrooms, so protection in the windows will be very helpful to keep them out. These was not enough proper or comfortable garden furniture, most of the stretchers were broken. There was only one comfortable chair. Everything needs a little bit more dedicated attention (for instance: in the kitchen matching knives and forks) and then this house could really be fantastic!

Summary: The house is well equiped and nice furnished. It has a lot of space inside and outside. There are three open fireplaces, one in the house one below a roof and one in the garden. So grilling activities can be done unlimited. The pool is well sized and offers a marvelous view into the beautiful landscape. When we took over the house is was thoroughly cleaned. We and our children enjoyed the stay in this object.
