Summary: Pros - location and privacy is great Cons - Home needs more attention to detail like 4 lightbulbs out in Master bath, no AC (too hot when in the 90s!), no pull down shade for the patio which desperately needs one for the blaring sun, broken blinds in the Master — and the cabin really needs a deep clean. Last which isn’t the fault of the home owner- be ready for MOSQUITOES- they are fierce here.

Summary: Easy check-in process and great location for having our dog with us. Nice and quiet. Would recommend providing bug spray as mosquitos were everywhere anytime you went outside. We left some for the next guests.

Summary: I'm torn because I hate writing negative reviews but I also feel that after paying close to $4,000 for staying at this cabin for 7 nights we certainly did not get our money's worth! Pros - the property is on the river and is as pictured on the website. It has a nice outside table that was great for eating and also sitting and watching the boats go by on the river, and there was a grill we used twice. It was also very nice to have a dock that we could use to tie up the boat we rented one day. The fridge was nice with great ice.We also enjoyed the neighbor's dog, Rango coming over each day. Cons - The place was dirty! The carpet was vacuumed but really needed to be cleaned. There was dust everywhere, the bathrooms were not very clean, the stove hadn't even been wiped down. When we opened the washing machine there were unwashed sheets with blood stains on them sitting in there. We pulled pans out to use that were dirty, as well as mugs. The cabin has no A/C and this of course is not the owner's fault, but Bigfork was in the middle of a heatwave with temps in the 90's. There were overhead fans in the rooms that helped and when we were at the cabin we left the sliding doors open but both screens had holes in them so all the bugs and mosquitos would fly in! And then the fan in the second bedroom would go off intermittently during the night. And the light in the laundry room stopped working! Also there is a sign in the master bedroom asking that you not use the tub. I had sent an email before leaving asking some questions and the property manager didn't get back to me for a few days. Upon checking in and not being happy with the cleaning, I left messages for the property manager and again it was days before she got back to me. Wifi reception is very spotty there, so I tried to be understanding when it took days to get back about the cleanliness. She did ask if she needed to send someone to "spiff the place up" but by then we had been there 3 nights and were gone on adventures all day. I said that really I should get my cleaning fee back and she agreed but I have yet to receive it. I had also called and asked where to place all the trash and recycling and didn't hear back so we had to leave everything neatly in the kitchen. I have pictures I took of everything so if anyone wants to check the veracity of my claims they can message me. We were a party of two couples in our 50's so we were totally responsible /respectful of the property

Summary: Great location & very cooperative owner. The place is actually pretty nice. Little things like old everyday kitchen items ( like no can opener ) things just weren’t clean & the carpet needs to be cleaned. In spite of all this we really had a good time & the setting is great

Summary: Great location and spacious cabin right on the Flathead river. It would be difficult to find a property any closer to the river. There is a boat dock and the boat launch is only across the highway from the cabin.

Summary: This rustic cute cabin was so fun! The flathead river was so peaceful. We loved being able to get on the water right there from the private dock!! We loved hearing the cows across the river!! The kids loved being here! We will be back! It did get a little toasty at night.. But opening the windows with the fan on helped.. I wish the bed was a little softer but that's a personal thing that can always be fixed with an extra blanket.. All in all.. It was a great time!! Great location!! Loved staying on the river!! It was perfect! Thanks Shannon for all your help!
