Built in the 19th century, the house has since been renovated, adding a chef’s kitchen, sunroom, and master bedroom to the pre-existing living room and bedrooms.
Fully equipped with Wi-Fi, a Plasma TV (with HBO and Showtime), a stash of games, a Keurig machine and a french press, a fireplace (with plenty of firewood) as well as all the basic necessities, the house is the perfect spot to hibernate during the colder months. However, the property is the real attraction with two ponds, a fire pit, an Argentinian grill, and back woods for exploring. Whether you come alone for some quiet time, with pets, or with family and friends, Coutant Falls has everything you need to be your home away from home.

Summary: Lovely property! Even more beautiful in person, had a great weekend. It slept the whole party easily, the house was very clean, the kitchen and living area were huge an open, great for large groups. The patio and backyard was really nice as well, the pool/pond was being worked on but it was still lovely to hang around. Would recommend!

Summary: Steve's place was perfect for a small group trip outside of the city. Everything in the house was set up perfectly to host and we would definitely come back again.

Summary: From the moment we walked into this home, we were enchanted. It had the charm of a rustic New England farmhouse blended with modern conveniences. Around each corner or up a staircase there were surprises galore! The kitchen was incredible with all the pots, pans, utensils you could ever need and the large island made it the perfect place for multiple cooks and visitors to convene. The cozy fireplace room and all the blankets provided made it a favorite hangout spot. We even made a Christmas tree out of the garland and lights left by owner, Steve and spent Christmas morning there. The adjacent "sunroom" had the largest sectional I've ever seen and the other fun seats in the room were enjoyed by all. The master suite was very roomy and private with a fantastic tub with views out to the surrounding property. From every room on the main level you look out on a small pond and waterfall. It was heaven just to gaze at this from inside or take your coffee outside and listen for a real "moment of zen".The acreage around the property is beautiful and we took several walks across the meadow and down to the pond and enjoyed knowing that we were on "our" property and wouldn't see another soul. Very special. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family to spend Christmas and we'd like to come back to enjoy the pond and fire pit when the weather gets warmer. One last word about the owner, Steve, who we messaged several times while there. Despite the fact that he was traveling abroad, he responded readily to our questions and went above and beyond to make this a satisfying stay in his house. We would definitely stay at his house again.

Summary: This house is exceptional and we loved it! There were only two of us, and the house fits many more people, but we enjoyed the spacious kitchen, livingroom, master suite; sprawling front porch. Beautifully decorated, every amenity you want or need - Alexa, Keurig, DirectTv, internet; home gym, fire pit outside next to pond/waterfall.Absolutely beautiful property; several nice restaurants nearby, plus wineries in the area. Steve was great to work with and very responsive. Not to be missed!

Summary: We stayed with our family here after my son’s wedding. The surroundings were beautiful,peaceful and the family loved it. The home was very comfortable and felt homey. The house had a great sound system. It has everything you need in the kitchen . The hot tub was a plus. Working with Steve was easy. He responded to our question quickly. We definitely could come back and are happy to recommend it to others. The new bride even try to book it for this July, but it’s not available. Thanks Steve for a memorable vacation.
