Summary: This rental was great and i will definitely be back. Dean was very helpful and responsive. The property is much better than the pictures lead you to believe. The stream is just steps from the back door and there is a second floor balcony that i was not expecting. I saw no other humans during my whole stay (this was a goal) but i did see lots of deer and turkeys. As a bonus there are 2 trees right near the fire pit that were perfect for a hammock!

Summary: The cabin is an absolutely wonderful place to unwind and escape daily stressors. It is clean and comfortable. Mr. Hay is a great host and provided some fun ideas for us to do while we were there. We plan to do this every year.

Summary: There has been a bad drought in Southwest Pennsylvania. The creek was not running full. We received several days of rain while we were there; so we were then able to hear the creek the last few days that we were there. The owner was very friendly.

Summary: This was just what we needed before the start of a new teaching semester. Everything you see in the photographs is just what you get. Dean seems to be very conscientious about the environment which we really appreciate. The property is well cared for and secure, and if you want an escape from the typical onslaught of life, this is a great place to get it.
